India Shifts Failure to Pakistan : BJP Gains Election Advantage

By Brig. (r) Junaid Zaman • Nov 30th, 2008 • Category: Politics • 6 Comments

Lashkar-e-Tayyaba and Jaish-e-Mohammad are the comfortable scapegoats for the Indian officials and media. Though, an India based group calling itself the Deccan Mujahideen has accepted the responsibility of Mumbai attacks, Indians are forced by their habits to point fingers at the so-called militant organizations based in Pakistan.

The truth of the matter is that both of the above mentioned militant organization have long ceased to exist. With the crack down of Musharraf government over the Laskhars of all kinds within Pakistan and stopping support to any such outfit in Afghanistan had forced these militant organizations to disband. As that deprives India from accusing ISI and Pakistan, so they are unwilling to accept that reality.

Who can forget not just the horrors of Gujarat in 2002, but other incidents that go further back, such as the 1999 Kandahar hijacking, and most infamously, the BJP-led demolition of the Babri Mosque in 1992? The Mumbai coordinated strikes have taken place in a year in which six Indian states are going to the elections. These are make or break elections for both the ruling Indian National Congress and the BJP.

The Mumbai attacks have proved blessing in disguise for the BJP and now BJP will ride on religious rhetoric, Muslim slamming and anti-terrorist grandstanding to convince its purely Hindu supporters that the party will protect their interests and ensure their safety and security against the “Muslim Invasion”.

Bush leverage the potential of terror struck American populace to get himself elected for the next term, and now BJP is following the same path. Politicians around the world can do anything to win the elections.

  1. Hi sir you are absolutely correct at this point, it is completely a failure of Indian intelligence agencies and also their Navy as they are saying militants came on boat, but i have some questions,
how they manage to take so much weapons in to 7star hotel ? because if we visit here in Karachi to P.C. or Marriott we have to pass too many hurdles for even if we have some cell phones or some hard belt buckle, then how is this possible to take soo much hand grenade to top floor, something is there which is not yet confirmed take Hotel staff n manager in custody to for investigation everything will be clear, but they will not doo this because Indian Government is involved in this whole drama, which is arranged by BJP for its election campaign and also to hide those politicians whose name will be published soon due to investigation from some Indian officer arrested in samjhota Express blast, isn’t it special that DIG kurkaray whole team was killed in this drama, wow..i know Mumbai is known for Films and drama..and now it is proved to the world that Mumbai can create a historic film n drama for world..what all says

  2. It seems that Pakistan and Pakistanis have decided to live in a world of ignorance and hypocrisy. My only advice is before pointing any finger just look at your own country and what has it achieved. For a change there is a democratic govt. but it is powerless. How on earth can u people even think of azaadi for Kashmir. First give that azaadi to your own citizen

  3. @Raju..
well i don’t know why whenever there is something in India all fingers moves toward Pakistan, i hope so you heard a joke that if a child is born they says yeh Pakistan kii harkat hay, why dear why, we both are in same situation we both have to fight against terrorism, we don’t have to fight with each other.BUt that is fact that if you spit on sky it will come to your face that is what Indian did in Mumbai drama, before arresting terrorist they said they are Paki who believes that, i think you also dont.
