India Fans the Flames in Tibet
By Gul Raiz • Mar 21st, 2008 • Category: Politics • 3 CommentsAs the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala, India runs the anti-China riots in the Tibet region of China with the full support of India, China becomes more apprehensive and angry over the role of India in the region to destabilize its’ neighbours.
Pakistan, Srilanka and China all the neighbours are wary of Indian role in creating restive situation in their respective lands. India is facilitating the terrorist activities in the FATA area of Pakistan, which are now branching out in other cities. India has literally choked the Tamil region of Sri lanka by supporting the LTTE, and it has allowed the anti-Chinese Tibetans to create a government-in-exile on it’s land and is now supporting the riots in China.
The sudden surge in the riots in the Tibet are to disturb the Beijing 2008 Olympics. It’s impossible for the handful of rioters to breakaway from China, but their selection of this timing is to defame the Chinese government. America, England and some other European countries are also exploiting the occassion to undermine the Chinese, and once again India is doing all the dirty work for the world powers.

India has enough problems of seperatism in its hands to inflame Tibet.This is ofcourse the exploitation of the feelings of cultural removal(Budhism vs communism) amongst the tibetans by some western powers to embarass China during the olympic games. The very fact the tibetans in Lhasa targetted Han shops and also Hui shops and got retaliation in neighbouring provinces from Huis and hans shows the work of western agencies.
DalaiLama a budhist wants his authority is recognised by chinese in the form of autonomy but Chinese will not oblige and now the leadership is passing into the hands of youngsters who want independence and may resort to violence to achieve their ends. Panchen lama who supported Chinese in 1959 is still not seen in public.
FATA and indians.You cannot accept your unelected leaders have aliniated the Pakhtuns by killing their girls in lalMasjid.Hope the new elected government heals the wounds.
Gul I think notions and thoughts like ‘handful of tibetans can not break awy from China’ are not healthy to make. Everyone has the right to decide their fate and freedom. One can not be living in Pakistan and telling everyone else that they should not raise their voice for their own freedom. Let me ask you a question. Do you think the seperatist movement in the East Chinese province for a independent muslim area in China is justified? If your answer is yes then maybe you should not object to Tibetan demands. And if your answer is No then apply the same principle onto Pakistan, Chehcnya, Bosnia and the rest of the muslim countries.
As they say half knowledge is worse than no knowledge.
I wish Mr Riaz if you could have done some research on the subject and have taken your friends (China’s) views. If you still doubt what I have mentioned below, read any of the Chinese newspapers.

Beijing, March 23 (PTI) India has assured China that its position on the Tibet issue is “clear and consistent” and it would not change in the future, a Foreign Ministry spokesman here said. New Delhi also clarified that Vice President Hamid Ansari had no plans to meet the Dalai Lama, leader of the Tibetan government in exile in Dharamshala, following a “rumour” about such a meeting, Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said.
“The Indian side has clarified to China on relevant rumour, saying there’s no such plan,” Qin was quoted as saying by the official Xinhua news agency. He said New Delhi - which maintains that Tibet is an internal issue of China - has assured Beijing that its position on Tibet is “clear and consistent” and it would not change in the future.
China is fighting the unrest in Tibet where riots erupted early this month during monks-led protests against Beijing’s rule, jolting the Communist leadership. The most vicious protests in two decades have led to 19 deaths in mob violence — 18 civilians and a police officer.
The meetings of some Western leaders with the Dalai Lama, whom Beijing accused of masterminding the recent Lhasa riots, earlier had angered China which had warned the countries concerned that their action would undermine and damage the bilateral relations. On Friday, US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi met the Dalai Lama and spoke out against China’s “oppression” in Tibet, infuriating Beijing which asked others not to meddle in its internal affairs.
India’s position on Tibet has come in for praise from China, with Premier Wen Jiabao himself acknowledging that Beijing “appreciates” the stand taken by the Indian government to handle the Tibet “independence” activities. PTI.
