India Burns Kashmir Again
By Ali Yar Khan • Sep 28th, 2008 • Category: Politics • 7 CommentsIn it’s blind pursuit to fully control the Kashmir and subjugate the overwhelming Muslim majority and preferring Hindu minority in every field, Indian government has once again started using Gestapo measures in the Jammu and Kashmir region, which it occupies for more than last sixty years.
In the recent skirmishes, Indian police stormed into the houses of Kashmiris in various towns and villages and started beating men and women and burned their homes. Upon protest from the residents, Indian police opened fire and killed as many as two dozens people on the spot.
This has sparked a new round of anger in the Kashmiris and they have once again risen to snatch their freedom from the Indian aggression. Fighting has broke out between freedom fighters and the Indian army. Indian troops killed 11 freedom fighters in Occupied Kashmir while one Indian soldier was also killed in a clash. Eleven Kashmiris and an Indian army soldier were killed in protracted gunbattles in the forests of Kangan, northeast of Srinagar.
Pakistan should support these Kashmiris, and raise the matter on every forum in the world.

Hi,
whom you call FREEDOM FIGHTERS we call jehadies and terrorists. Just because they are Muslims it doesnot give them right to ask for sharia law and abolish secular democracy of India.We have more Muslims in India than whole of pakistan and they constitute 15% of our population.These kashmiri Muslims show love for Sharia and say will not accept DEMOCRACY because Islam demands it.Let them go to Pakistan and live under sharia but not preach secession in Secular India.
50 years and still i can’t understand why the pak people can’t fathom the reasons to which kashmir decided to join india…given a choice kashmir decided on india and not pakistan…and from then on what the observant world has seen is futile attempts of a disgruntled stubborn country to weaken an equally new formed state by encroaching their borders,trying to plant their terrorists who in the name of religion create strife among the people of the region…and trying to disrupt all attempts of development in the area…i come from southern india,kerala to be more specific…where there’s a substantial amount of muslim population…now according to your godamn logic…shouldn’t these regions be merged with pakistan too? why don’t you scream bout that?
and now that the tactics in pakistan’s not working…they’ve intended on creating discomfort among the muslim populace…and has resulted in more communal tensions throughout the country…
we have seen how your country runs itself…and in spite of all this…you conduct as though whatever u’ve done so far has been up to the better grades…
when will you people learn?

It is India…. who does not allow international human rights organisations like Amnesty International (AI) and Human Rights Watch (HRW) to visit Jammu and Kashmir…. It is not your mistake but the sad tragedy is that you are unable to come to terms with reality…. Pakistan has always been crying for Kashmir solution. Pakistan has just one demand:::: solve the Kashmir issue according to the UN resolutions and the will of the Kashmiri people….. Indian forces are regularly committing atrocities…. killing and suppressing innocent people and the international community should also be able to accept the significant truth that India does not want to resolve the Kashmir issue……
As India has 16 ongoing insurgencies like Punjab (Akali)…. Asam…. Uttar Pradesh…. Madras…. Bihar…. Sikkam…. Manipur…. Tripura…. Arunchal Pradesh…. Mizoram…. Andhra Pradesh (Peoples War Group)… Nagaland (Naga National Council)…. Tamil Nadu…. granting independence to Kashmir would only strengthen scessionist movements in other States….. Then India would become another Soviet Union. India is in a no-win situation in Kashmir…. Let the Kashmiri people decide their destiny through a free and fair UN sponsored plebiscite…..
