Independence of Judiciary

The independence of judiciary means that judges could fulfill their constitutional responsibilities without fear or favor and their decisions must be implemented verbatim and in the spirit.
When rule of law prevails, then justice will be rendered to the people. If there is no rule of law then there will be no justice. During the military regime, no law exists in the land and so there is no justice.
When General Musharraf promulgated Emergency on Nov. 3, the law and constitution was suspended, and as there was no law there was no justice.
Democratic forces must end this door for army chief to come and suspend the constitution and deny people justice. Without justice, there is no law, and where there is no law, there is no humanity.

In the history of Pakistan, no chief justice has ever succeeded to give us justice. Lawyers and white collar people (civil society) knows one thing that CJ Ch. Iftikhar Ahmed was removed illegally. So if today we will not able to resume him then these mad Generals and corrupt politicans will doing it for their personal interest again and again. It was the first time in Pakistan that poor people got instant and fair justice since Ch Iftikhar was on seat. He finished more than 48000 pending cases in record 18 months times. He has proved his efficiency and effectiveness. This thing was basically stinging whole establishment. These culprit police officers, government officers, army, President office and corrupt PMLQ people were unable to do corruption and selling national assets like Steel Mills of Pakistan.
Thats why Musharraf removed him twice but this gave severe damage to himself, not Ch Iftikhar. Truth prevails always, where as falsehood is perishable and bound to perish. Our so called President and Bay Wardi Musharraf is simply false.
