Increase in Robberies

By Dr. Hassan Isfahani • Oct 24th, 2008 • Category: Politics • One Response

Due to the baseless rumors that the banks are going bankrupt and they are about to clamp down on the lockers of the people and will freeze the accounts for an unspecific period of time has created a panic and many a people have withdrawn their money and valuables from the banks and have put them in their homes.

Robbers and thieves have also come to know that and they are having field days. The security agencies and police are busy in either protecting the VIPs or rangers who are tucked in their bunkers at the entrance and exit of every city or the police is busy in catching the people without helmets on bikes and extracting Rs. 50 or Rs. 100 from them.

Many days have passed since that rumor about bank failures spread and now it has grown stale with many reassurances and concrete measures from the banks and the financial regulatory authorities. If people are not much interested about the national economy, then they should at least think about their own safety and it would be prudent for them to return their money and valuable back the banks. Just an advice.
