Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre on Wednesday launched its Zakat Collection Campaign for 2011. A hospital spokesperson said that over Rs9b had been spent on free treatment during the last 16 years. He said that the hospital’s budget for 2011 is Rs3.7b.
