Immigration to India or Pakistan
By Muskan Hina • Sep 14th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 50 CommentsIt’s time that the Pak-India relationship should get better. So much water has passed under the bridges and so much animosity has been experienced and after the string of terrorism in Pakistan and the Mumbai attacks in India, both countries must work together to get rid of this menace on both sides and render relief to their people.
With United States reeling under the recession and the outsourcing industry of India getting severe blows, its time that both Indian and Pakistani professionals join hands and come to some mutual forum and initiate a reverse brain drain. Indian and Pakistani brains can do wonders in the field of technology and with their expat experience, this could be termed as turning point for this region.
Both Indians and Pakistanis must work together to make goras making queue outside Pakistani and Indian consulates and surfing through websites to check that whether they have enough points to immigrate to India or Pakistan.

Call of India lures European workers
By Geeta Pandey
BBC News in Delhi
The big hall fills with the cacophony of different languages - English, French, German, Dutch, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Spanish.
European companies may be outsourcing work to Indian firms but in one Delhi-based call centre it’s Europeans who make up a fair number of the workforce.
“It’s so different from Europe - the culture and the way you live - and I think it’s fantastic,” says Marie Blomquist from Stockholm.
“People are so friendly and the food is awesome, everything is great.”
Hooked
This Tecnovate eSolutions office recruits at least 10% of its 900 employees from Europe.
Its clients come from 11 countries using nine different languages.
Entry and mid-level employees are recruited from European countries on Indian salaries to service their native markets from India.
Marie Blomquist first visited India two years ago.
She came to see Goa as a tourist and was hooked. So when she saw a newspaper advertisement for a job in Delhi, she jumped at it.
“I like it a lot,” says Marie. “It’s a real good experience for us to be here. It’s a good opportunity to work for an Indian company with other Europeans and that’s the best part about it.”
Compensation
Patrick is 21 years old and Swiss. He’s been in India for 10 months now and says he likes it so much he’s extended his time by another four months.
“I’m leading the Swiss team here,” he says. “We’re a team of 13 - French and German Swiss.”

We live very well. We have a nice guest house. It’s better than we thought before I came here
Sylvia Sethi, right
Marie and Patrick are part of the growing breed of Europeans living and working in India.
Prashant Sahni, chief executive officer of Tecnovate, says the way it works is simple.
“We hire people from various parts of Europe to work for us on Indian salaries and it’s been very successful.
“We get our clients involved in the recruitment process so it’s a win-win situation for everyone. As for the people who come to work here, they get a chance to live in a country as unique and diverse as India.”
Mr Sahni says the European employees are recruited for a minimum period of a year, but many extend their stay.
And although the employees are paid local salaries, they receive other compensation in the form of free housing, a furnishing allowance and subsidised meals.
Sylvia Sethi, another Swede, says: “We live very well. We have a nice guest house. It’s better than we thought before I came here.”
She says the job also provides a great opportunity to travel around India.
“Our schedule is done in a way that we can travel around and do things in our free time.
“Also, we get picked up and dropped off for work, a privilege we don’t have in Sweden. We also get snack coupons.”
Marie, Patrick and Sylvia says they’ve made “loads of friends” and have the added bonus of getting paid while they do it.

BL has take his loving task to promote India, in anycase. Indian is a cheap country which is gifted with Natural Beauty, so he torist come to India and Like it. If the country is booming, the why Millions are working in Gulf/Middle east/UK and being mistreated in Australis. Were 300/400 millions are below USD 1 per day, how succesfull the market is, As simple as makebelieve like the Ideology and myth fo Indian social syatems. Manupilation/corruption/exploitation. 80% wealth is in 20% hands.
Pakistan and India shuld not be friends so fast, because its FM is still going around the world badmouthin Pakistan, so let it be and lets remain nieghbours only were we have no choice, In India who cannot tolerate a book or a visit of BJP leader to a tomb, then the fundamentalists in India are to Hatefull like shiv sena and Modi,s.
The Religious fanatics of Pakistan are no different the Indain fanatics. So let the it e status quo, till Indian does what it preaches, Give Kashmiris its plebicite.
Failed Nuke test,Failed democracy, were poor die of hunger, too many slum dogs, thats India, Be honest, if you can, and not a typical Harbhajan singh
Ha ha ha ha ha…………..yaar Phakir…………..kyon jalaape nikalta hai………..apne mulk ke failure ka gussa India ke success pe kyon nikal raha hai? Hmmm….kuch jalne ki boo aa rahi hai…..
“”"Failed Nuke test,Failed democracy, were poor die of hunger, too many slum dogs, thats India”"”
Um…interesting, but isn’t that Pakistan too?
Yes Pakistan too has the same failure story. But India has chosen to give a false sense of achievement to their people, The above statistics are mostly correct. Since Indian culture depends on Myths/Make believe so an easy to have a sELF concieted view. Indian Govt does not allow any TV channels form Pakistan to be seen by Indian’s. Because they shuld not know the other side fo the story, or shuld not be criticise.Pls be a free nation and start looking at realities, Gabhar singh’s or Shaktimans era has gone.Accept jaswant singh’s book , he is right or wrong let the public decide.Pls get over your fears
India is a nation of self praisers , not used to criticism. Devided into castse’s and creeds in very complex way. Were Women are more then men. Were SATI , to burn a women , has gone away in recent times.
Give a coin to this begger paki fakir.
Thanks, pls dont give me Indian Rupees, pls give me in US Dollars. Thanks
Sorry u wont be that lucky fakir.
we will give u Bangladeshi taka!!
1.00 Bangladeshi Taka=1.20280 Pakistani Rupee
BL
Once upon a time we were leading Bangladesh by 2:1 and had an equal money value with India but now everything has gone out of control .Our foreign finance ministers who only come here for VIP protocol, work for world banks and IMF like groups, give benefits to already rich class and then gone with wind,
India has surely an edge on Pakistan on its industrial development and has an inclination towards more productive growth but her leisurely activities like arms race in subcontinent and forceful actions in Kashmir and Assam like areas are disturbing its nearby weak countries. What ever India plan to buy for adding in her ordinance depot from her savings , other neighbouring countries start following her footsteps and get equal technology of warfare by taking heavy loans or placing aside their development funds. So India should reduce its arms sadism and should try to promote tourism in all region.
@nazia
I am saddened to see you include Assam there.
And as usual, my reply is, what should India do about China?
@FAKIR
“”"But India has chosen to give a false sense of achievement to their people…”"”
How do YOU (a Pakistani) know this? Being an Indian, i myself do not believe India has achieved a lot. There is a long way to go for India.
@14
If we cant afford a dear enmity then why not we prefer inexpensive friendship. This is very simple and practicable approach and you can do it by pressurizing your elected parliament.
I do business with India, and interact with them and i know the Hype about developement is not that rosy, Indian leadership is very cunning. and ofcorse they are mostly getting their votes courtesy Pakistan. Historical India has never been a good Neighbor to the east.west.north .
India has made a political mistake of putting Pakistan down in every interntional forum, Now the heat of their doings will rebound and they will lose thei COMMON WEALTH Games to start with, and further Mabe The Aussies and Brits will as usual pressurise them, on top of that China wants a piece of India, to estblish its Strebght in Asis and also reacvh the Hot waters.
The cunning leadershi of India shuld have chosen to tone down thier Stupid propoganda and wuld have paid attention to their home, So its JAI JOO only .
If Indian Leadership is not scared let it open the Paki TV channels so the Indian Publice shul know taht Pakis also have a Starnge Mix.
BL. It is good to know you are a miser, Pls go for Rath Yatra and take a bath in Jamuna and try to wash away your negative attitude. You are unable to give this Fakir anything, Ofcourse you cannot afford USD 1 , since you are from the Below the poverty line of 300/400 million.
Yaar ke bhikhari phakir…..always keeps talking about poverty in India…..
Pappu……yesterday 14 Sep 2009, nearly 20 people got killed in a stampede in Karachi . Why did they die? Why were they standing in that que? Was the trader distributing free jewelery or food to them? In the news it was shown that the trader was distributing free flour to them. Man…..you people cannot afford to have just flour and you are concerned about the poverty in India….. Khhmmmm…… ha ha ha ha ha ha
Shame-ji. Ofcourse people died in Pakistan due to Free delivery of food,It is Sad, But it does not make Indian 300/400 million Poor people better, Come out of you slumdog mentality. And accept the facts. Commomwealth games are going away from you and Most ofthe European countries will not come for Games in Indian, Since Mr Chadambaram has no other agenda but, to paint Paki neagtive. India will automaticaly have bad effects. India des mahan , jahan par 90% baiman, like Pakistan. ha ha ha ha
