If God be for us; who can be against us!

A timid cat makes a proud mouse. Secret meeting between Army Chief and Shahbaz Sharif backed by Ch. Nisar Khan is a matter of huge concern that made military leadership stand against civilian government. If we remember both PPP and PML(N), mainstream parties had promised the people of Pakistan to avoid military involvement in the political affairs of the country and military should work under civilian government. Now, when Army is publicly asking the government about its concerns, the political parties have kept mum over prevailing situation. Non-beard extremists’ parties were aiming at mid-term elections, have been joined by Nawaz Sharif’s party.

Strong opposition of Army with help of political parties is ruining democratic norms. Those who are conversant with the modern political thought know standing of opposition parties in Pakistan. Opposition is attempting to push government into snake pit of rumors. On the hand, government doesn’t seem to submit to the pressure being applied through all fronts.

Critics of Kerry Lugar Bill were those who haven’t read it properly or those who might not have wanted to describe it correctly. An “explanatory” document has been attached to the Bill after lots of yelling at aid package to Pakistan. Let me remind you that there is no condition on the development aid to Pakistan through this bill. Now President Obama has signed the bill, it sounds as if, the issue to be settled down. But the created rift between military decision makers and civilian government is not ended yet, PML(N) is the apple of discord among them, not surprisingly. God forbid, it could take Pakistan into a deeper political chaos, when government is fighting extremism and there are many other issues need to be addressed. We hope that government and Army will work smoothly as they were doing to eliminate the militants. Security of the world lay in Pakistan’s stability.

well..it seems like u supporting Kerry Lugar Bill. Is it really in interest of Pakistan?

  2. Why should Kerry Laugar Bill be in the interest of Pakistan?

I am sure, it would be in the interest of US and would probably for betterment of the entire region, not a single player.

  3. There is no need to worry as God is always with us.This truth is also acknowledged by foreign technical and political experts after analyzing our efficiency in all fields of development.Loans never show sign of prosperity in the presence of known and declared corrupt government.Zardari group is badly in need of this aide as and where basis but military men are not in mood of accountability, sharing of bounty and future check list on them so lets see who will put saddle on this wild horse first.

  4. The serious of these conspiracies start from past when Mr. Nazwaz Sharif raised voice for judiciary but shamelessly using street power against court decision if its against him. Any judge who decides in his favor becomes independent judge and whoever decides against him is sent home or is ridiculed by his media men bought out by Sharif. Would Sharif have protested the same way if court would have ruled in his favor ?

How illogical that he calls himself “national” leader whereas he did not get ANY seats in sindh and has very minute representation in NWFP and Baluchistan.

How illogical that Sharif is always giving poisonous speeches against army and trying to create rift between civilians and army whereas he was himself hand-picked by notorious dictator Zia ul Haq.

How illogical he is never tired of telling about his loyalty to Pakistan but billions of his illegal dollars are stashed or invested in Dubai , UK or Jeddah when country is in dire economic conditions and needs some capital but still shamelessly he talks about his ‘unending’ loyalty to country.

There is lot to say about Mr. Nawaz Sharif but this is not time of mudslinging and blame game. We must pay heed to real issues and I also request these self righteous groups to strengthen Govt for the sake of this country.
