When a dictator was sitting in islamabad nobody panicked. now when a democratic government is in chair. critisizm has turned into propaganda. Farhad i would completely agree with you. First we should think what we have given to Pakistan and then ask from it. The fat and flabby generals of the GHQ have nothing else but to propagate against the democratic regimes to find their chance into the corridors of power once again. Since the sawat operation started the government has been tirelessly working to give relief to these people. It is acceptable that managing so many IDPs makes you vulnerable to mistakes but it doen not mean the government had altogether left those millions to rot in the sun. there have been no deaths from food shortage. its just that the life wasnt normal as it used to be in their homes and villages. But then isnt the menace of terrorism our home grown? Did the tribal belt not get militarized in Zias time? We people are equally responsible for whatever problems we face today. PPP has come to power 12 long years after 1996. This isnt the same Pakistan. This is a Pakistan steeped in dangers of terrorism and poverty at ever high. This is a Pakistan at the brink of a disaster and we are responsible for bringing it to this stage in the 10 years of musharraf rule not the PPP it is very difficult to cater for 3000000people without home food and shelter.
