Hope is Still There

The first formidable show of strength by three major parties — Pakistan People’s Party, Pakistan Muslim League-N and Awami National Party has helped a lot in clearing the minds of Pakistani nation, who were getting confused due to the senseless and sensational debates on private T.V channels.

Nation is very much relieved to see that the winds of change are still blowing and the leaders are still committed to their causes, and the leaders and parties have learned from the past and they are together in solving the mammoth problems faced by Pakistan today.

All the elected members of these three parties should work together in the parliament at federal and provincial level and they should do it selflessly and on war-footings and without the greed for pelf or power. Money and privileges shouldn’t be their priority, rather they should set their eyes on the promises they made to the hapless people of this country, who have converted their anger into the votes on just passed-by election day.

All the parties would not shirk from their challenging responsibility of putting Pakistan back on track of peace, progress and harmony and work with other democratic forces to find a solution to the problems.
