I think we, the Pakistani people, should try harder to understand the postion of the govt. Ever since the attack began India started their litany about Pakistan and our agencies being involved in it. The death of Hemant Karkare, a man arresting Hindu right wing extremist for his involvement of Muslim massacre, was indeed an eye opener. Why was it that Kasab was the only terrorist that Indian media managed to track, live on camera while he was conducting the shootings? I haven't been trained in this but i have to admit Kasab is the first "terrorist" who didn't pop a cyanide pill upon arrest, rather survived to be caught, interrogated, tortured by the authorities and tell his story?
There are many such questions that lurk, unanswered in this labyrinth. Similarly, the Western World is a reality that cannot be ignored or overlooked. Pakistan has to take baby steps and play their best shot despite a weak knee i.e. the truth of rampant terrorism that is linked to Pakistan.

Yaseen,

Advani did not give any confession, he made a suggestion. Confession comes from convicted or people under custody during intoregation and he was in neither of the situation.

Fatima,

This is how Pakistan has been for all these years.

Whenever the government is asked to do somethings they just get into denial mode and try to push the topic under the carpet.

But this time due to the pressure and other things, they had to do what they did.
