Hellish PTCL : Phone n Net, DSL, VPhone

If you guess it right, you would get a rare pleasureable oppurtunity to let your anger out, and if you dont guess, well you get the same reward of letting your steam out. So the question is, Guess which is the most disgusting, useless, screwed-up service in the world?
Ok let me give you three choices: 1) PTCL DSL 2) PTCL Phone n Net 3) PTCL VPhone
Well you could give your answer and the reason in the comment. Let me confide in you about what I think about the above curses. That basically proved like a serial chain cursing for me. First I hated PTCL VPhone, then I abhorred PTCL DSL, and right now I curse PTCL Phone n Net. In a nutshell, PTCL as a whole is a miserable and hellish organization, which needs to be sold to Afghanistan for Rs. 13.
Whatever Pakistani channels are left on the cable are littered with the noisy and garish advertisement of PTCL. Girls and boys are dancing and clamouring about what PTCL has done. Pick any newspaper, and you cannot miss half-page ads of PTCL. All are lies, and everything offered by them is a sheer deception. Their service doesnt simply work. Whether its a DSL, or whether its phone n Net, or anyother garbage, everything by PTCL sucks,and sucks royally.
Now its your turn to get your sticks out.

I’ve had a terrible experience with V Wireless.For a few days after Eid the internet wasn’t working and I was unable to wish anybody on eid.Now I’ve switched over to Warid’s GPRS which is a good alternate and is much more reliable than PTCL.
Huh? I’ve been using PTCL’s DSL since November 2007 and it’s given me zero downtime whatsoever. Are you a link dot net or wateen guy? This post certainly looks like a paid one. Do some research, moron!
PTCL is no doubt changing its strategy to earn maximum in minimum time. Etisalat knows only one thing that they bought it at very high share price, now they want to suck back their investment in limited time to keep their IRR positive. Their equipments are getting obsolete and lines are getting noisy day by day.
I have a big concern about all telecom companies i.e. their usual tag ” LIMITED TIME OFFER and CONDITIONS APPLIES” on the corner of their advertisement. This thing is effecting majority of our population. Helpless people runs towards their offices to buy their new service without knowing that its limited time offer (No minimum time limit defined) and these companies changes their package plan enormously high or starts hidden charges without prior notice to customer.
The recent example is of Telenor package of 3 hours free in day time. after exact 15 days they took back this offer and badly effected customers.
PTCL did same with V-Phone, they first lifted daily charges from their package, gave advertisement of NO LINE RENT, changed 5 minutes local call to per minute and increased NWD charges also. No they reverted back after couple of months and started charging high daily charges without prior notice to customer.
As far DSL is concerned, its very good that lot of companies are going to start it but why they are not giving limited download offer for users like me, who don’t want to download movies and things like that. I maximum need to download 1 GB or 1.5GB. Why they are making cartel to keep prices at Rs.1,200 + PTCL line rent Rs 175 + 25% Taxes… that equals more than Rs1600 for 1.5 GB for a user like me.
PTCL has increased International inbound call charges also. almost 10 times higher than before. Its directly effecting expatriates and encouraging illegal ways to call Pakistan.
These things simply arises when you sells companies to one buyer or group. PTCL, PTCL V phone, PTCL DSL, PTCL net, Warid Telecom, Wateen telecom, Ufone and few small subsidiaries are under one umbrella… UAE Family. How they can start cut throat competition? Specially in fixed lines and broad band services. Just wait for few other companies in Broad band, then I hope things will change.

Jaisa ke pakistan main hota hai achi service ko privatise kar dya jata hai phir baad main awaam gharib ko mehangay damoon aur kharab service hi leni parti hai aisa haal bhi ptcl ke sath hoa hai bad luck of pakistani peoples.
abhi jo nai hakomat aai hai na yeh kuch bhi nahin choregi pehli wali to phir bhi guzara kar gai thi..

I am using vptcl and it sucks:-) still i’ve to use it cz i’ve paid for it.. as far as Mr. Dude is concerned he does not know what is Democracy. if we feel like taking out our haterdness or the agony we feel when PTCL stop working at the time when we need it so much. Anyhow Eitesalat is trying to earn alot in minimum time:-)
PTCL announced a new Phone n net package recently. They give you full free internet from 10 pm to 7 am and 100 hours free per month from 7 am to 10 pm.
But guess what, PTCL phone n net now does connect BUT it cant open any page at all. You just waste your call.

I recently received bill for September. The bill had all charges in full for the following services
DSL
PTCL Local Calls
Line Rent
But the fact is that my phone was dead for more than a month. I think spme ghosts were making calls from my phone or something. Top top it off, when I contacted their billing department to try to resolve this matter, they were no help. I was just handed over to one department from another constantly. So far, there is no resolution. It seems that PTCL considers it their right to charge the customers regardless of whether any services were rendered or not. If PTCL keeps going like this, the only thing I can see coming for sure is PTCL’s demise. Currently, PTCL has a monopoly, and that is perhaps the only thing that’s keeping them afloat. If it was not for the monopoly, I think most users would immediately switch to other options.
Down with PTCL.
My VPhone dropped Rs 450 balance in a second. Customer service refused to accept it and told me that the phone was activated yesterday. In reality i had been using my VPhone for the last 1.5 months. Now, i cannot make long distance calls or mobile calls from VPhone even though i added balance to it. It keeps telling me that i have no balance. Local calls work without any deduction from my balance. Does not even connect to internet. Customer service has stopped responding.
I HAVE GONE NUTS.

i called fukers since like 3 days but each time so low end bastard pics up the phone asks me re assign my IPs and then transfers the call to senior support who are so lazy bastards that they keep me waiting the phone until i hang up. to baad i cant post any pictures here otherwise i have the complete proof. the stupid dns server is always the ping always drops but the bill man is always on time
