Gratitude Is The Right Attitude

Just as saying ‘I love you’ to someone is meaningless until backed up with actions which prove love. Being obedient to Allah SWT thoroughout the day and feeling gratitude in one’s heart is what is important.
We should have an attitude of gratitude. Gratitude in every breath. Every breath is a blessing of Allah SWT. Every day is a blessing of Allah SWT. Our health, wealth, family, house, car, and all the things we take for granted are a blessing from Allah SWT.
I often think of handicapped people, people struck with poverty, people in hospitals, people suffering from abuse, and then I think of how well off I am compared to them, and how ungrateful I am.
…Worship Allah and be among the thankful. (Surat az-Zumar; 66)
If you tried to number Allah’s blessings, you could never count them. Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Surat an-Nahl; 18)
So eat from what Allah has provided for you, lawful and good, and be thankful for the blessing of Allah if it is Him you worship. (Surat an-Nahl; 114)
Shaitan’s aim is to make one ungrateful and take him/her away from Allah SWT.
He said, ‘By Your misguidance of me, I will lie in ambush for them on your straight path. Then I will come at them, from in front of them and behind them, from their right and from their left. You will not find most of them thankful.’ (Surat al-A’raf; 16-17)
Being grateful is a sure means of increasing one’s blessings.
…If you are grateful, I will certainly give you increase, but if you are ungrateful, My punishment is severe. (Surah Ibrahim; 7)
It is also interesting to note that gratitude also has to be towards one’s fellow human beings, as is evident from the Hadith below.
Prophet Mohammad (SAW) said, “He who does not thank people does not thank Allah SWT” (Tirmidhi)

Like Allah one or any child should make used to of giving gratitude to all who are responsible of his/her bringing up.Saying “thank you” is basic lesson of teachings in humanity and those who once realizes other ’s importance in their lives naturally bow down in front of Allah for all kind of minor and major blessings
But I say ‘alhamdulillah’ here-at - just for one reason for the last 2 weeks I’ve been requesting to PINKY BB kindly remove this full of WRINKLE face but she was not paying attention - Now Giant Size ‘alhamdulillah’ from my side also is being incorporated at Almighty Allah’s Office.
By the way yesterday someone told — MEM Sahib is out of station reason she has to brought from abroad 7or 8 Cartons of Make Up accessories mostly Wrinkle removal creams. Among those Cartons one is only for her Chamicis/Co-Staff Members — Yes - 2 Bottles of W/R Cream for each chamchi. HURRAY.
