Gol Mal Hay Bahi Sab Gol Mal Hay

Last evening when I logged into twitter after having a hectic day at work I saw some interesting, some regular, some hilarious and some worth RT tweets. While I was scrolling down, I stopped at a tweet from Muhammad Umer Javaid who has his body in Dubai but soul here in Lahore. The tweet was about how some non-branded eatable oil makers are crossing the limits of shamelessness and inhumanness. He was referring to a video (mentioned below) which says how these manufacturers are using Haram ingredients to produce such products.

I do not know who to blame on this, authorities who have always been busy in doing nothing, the ministry of Punjab that is all about replying to the statements of Governor, the manufacturers or we the people who buy all this. This video is from a national TV channel but believe when I say that there might have no action been taken on this, these people are still producing such things and we are still buying this. The reason for people to buy such thing is that they are forced to do so out of poverty and less purchasing power.

People prefer to buy non branded things even after such proofs pop up, and this is the reason that I am confused about who to blame about all this. I have to accept that these people are really really genius as they are producing so many things under one roof. But is it necessary that all the great ideas such people come up with are used in a wrong way, this is height of selfishness that they is earning on the cost of lives of millions.

This is the video about one city and one production place of the city. such factories and slaughterhouses are spread almost everywhere in the whole country because the lust of earning more and more money without caring about what happen to others has made us blind enough that we cannot see the harm we are creating and even if we see we do not care about it. We have become so much greedy that we do not care about the ethics—the business ethics. We do want to follow the smell of money not what our Holly Prophet Hazrat Muhammad S.A.W. said,

“Whosoever sells a defective product without disclosing its defect to the purchaser, shall earn the permanent anger of Almighty Allah and the angels continuously curse such a person.”
