		<description>I just discovered this little tool a few minutes ago. I was responding to job postings on Craigslist and made a note in the body of my email, "I have attached a copy of my resume." When I was done, I hit send and forgot to attach my resume! GMail came back with the exact same alert that you posted above. My very first thought was, "Wait... how did GMail know? It must've been reading my email!" and I began thinking about privacy concerns as well, but then I came to a conclusion- I don't think GMail actually "reads" your email. I think it just keeps an eye out for key phrases/words relating to file attachment. It then compares that against whether you have attached a file or not. If you have, then great! It sends the email. But if you haven't, that's when the little alert box pops up to remind you.

I personally am not at all worried about this affecting the privacy of my emails. I think it is simply a useful script that will help people far more than it will hinder them. I praise Google for doing this. Just one more reason to love the geniuses at work behind Google and GMail.</description>
