Gilani shouldn’t get Desperate for meeting Manmohan
By Dr. Hassan Isfahani • Jul 15th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 2 CommentsPrime Minister of India Manmohan Singh is not much interested in meeting Pakistani premier unless the agenda of meeting contains punishment of those who are allegdly invovled in Mumbai terror attacks. Pakistan Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir met his Indian counterpart Shiv Shankar Menon in SHARM EL-SHEIKH on the sidelines of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit.
They met two times, but Indian secretary remained adamant but Pakistani delegation remained stuck to eight-point agenda.
If Indians insist on including Mumbai attack, then Pakistan should insist on including the Indian involvement in sponsoring terrorism in Swat and Balochistan.
