Gilani Should Take Heart

Yes, we have a puppet in our lush Prime Minister House, which has become adept at issuing tasteless and bland statements and has developed a super-natural ability inaugurate different buildings, roads, hospitals, shows, and other things at short notice. That is not all. He has also acquired an uncanny knack of naming everything to the name of Benazir Bhutto, and one wonders where it will end.
Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani sometimes also issues policy statement. This time he has also pleaded with United States to not to send drones with bombs, and before doing that at least discuss it with the government. Just today, our Prime Minister said that it is not possible to discuss drone attacks with US now, as U.S. government after the election of Barack Obama is in a transition phase and Pakistan would discuss the issue of drone attacks with new government.
The new US government will take the charge of things after Jan. 20 next year, and until then US drones could carry on their killing spree with even “discussing” it with our Prime Minister.

Gillani has become our symbol of paper lion in PM house.He had no doubt borne the hardship of a dictator with courage and never opt to ran away from his constituency but behaving like a cow in front of zardari is now part of his life style.it clearly indicate that feudal character in all ways help the feudal lord and their targets and goals are always same and above national interests.His designer suits and luxurious lifestyles are no way creating any scene of democratic norms in our houses.The so called leaders like our PM , sherry rehman, our lady speaker and farzana raja are distributing 1000 rs cheque in poor people as monthly charity but daily get up of such leaders including their dresses, makeup and foot wear are almost 10,000 to 15000 per day.We have such a series of disgraceful democratic leaders that they can easily compare their styles with neighboring India ’s leaders.Their president .PM and sonia gandhi always come in front of public in most simple and graceful way but shameful sumptuous attitude has been adopted by our representatives of a poor beggar like country.
I agree Ali with what you wrote about puppet prime-minister. I dont’ know why the same things comes up again and again when people need a different system, different kind of mind-set and most importantly son of the soil. The country doesnt’ need these corrupt politician whether they are zardari, gilani or nawaz.
In the comments colum Nazia has also said as she always does in her refreshing style about the contrast with politicians across the border i.e. India.
In these difficult times our only hope is hope for the best. !!!
