The final and decisive showdown on this war against terror in Pakistan is about to be staged in the South Waziristan region of FATA. The main target of security forces in South Waziristan is Baitullah Mehsud. Baitullah is somewhere near Ladha area of South Waziristan and his 10,000+ militants are being led by Hakimullah Mehsud, the number 2 of Baitullah.

Operation Rah-e-Rast is in it’s final stages as the Taliban are running away from the Malakand. Now the military forces have started operation in the South Waziristan and leftovers of Swati Taliban have taken refuge in that area. The ‘disappearance’ of the Taliban from the Malakand Division is a tactical move by the insurgents and after the operation they could regroup themselves in the area and join the terrorist of Baitullah Network in South Waziristan.

Pakistan Army and the people of FATA and Swat are determined to continue the war against terrorism till the Taliban are flushed out of the country. People of Waziristan must also support the security forces.
