Breaking News: The leaders of the Twenty richest countries are meeting in London Today to discuss economic recession.

What will leaders of America ,Britain,Brazil,Russia,Japan,China and India  will do help the world economy. What are Zardari,Gillani and Sharifs doing,what else fighting and gossiping.True Pakistan is not part of the group G20,but this summit can be opportunity for observer countries.

Pakistan’s Zardari and Sharifs are Friends of Arabs (UAE & Saudi Arabia),did they not know in Doha Qatar Arab League are meeting with South American Leaders for Economic Summit. Could  Pakistan not send Foreign and Economic, Trade, Finance Ministers  and Prime Minister Himself to Work for Pakistani Export and Trade?

The G20 summit,what will it achieve? Obama and Brown need to take the world to a better Trade system where Poor countries get fair share.Otherwise there will be wars,famine and deaths of boat people(illegal immigrants who died in sea of Libya trying to reach Europe paradise).These Poor People are from world Poorest  countries, Africa, Iraq, Afghanistan and sorry to say Iran, India and Pakistan(not really that Poor are we?). Pakistani, Indian and Iranian leaders should think about it.

The New prime minister Mr Gordon Brown fearing defeat in next elections is on a charm offence to lure the BNP vote bank by issuing  Xenophobic statements like ” British Jobs for British ONLY”.New  immigration minister drafts policies and ideas which have coded fascism written on all over the page. These statements not only tarnish the harmony and stability of already fragile communities suffering from segregation, unemployment and crime(in case of muslims in northern mill towns) but  also result in political failures. The failed economic policies always have blame games attached to them. Unfortunately nowadays the muslims(Pakistani, Bangladeshi school dropouts,unemployment and drugs figures) are being used as soft target by politicians to cover up their own blunders.

In Britain major political parties are almost identical in their policies on health education ,employment, crime, social inclusion and Immigration.None of the policies in their manifestos seem to be working, yet it’s the same policies that Labour, Tories and Liberal Democrats insist on following and hope that these will lead to some magic solution or election victory.While the people know that whether Blair(Ex PM),New Brown or Cameron, in fact it is a game of musical chairs and of  merely replacing one Public school educated elitist middle aged white man with another, who will be even more isolated and protected from views of general public when they become the prime minister.

Pakistan and UK have more in common in elite politics than we care to admit. The general populace in UK still lives the Distopia of tripartite politics, the gap between the elite political leadership and common people is enormous. The elite leaders like Brown(read Zardari), Cameron(read Nawaz Sharif)and Nick Clegg( Imran Khan Romeo  Casanova, who no one takes seriously ) seem to be in a bubble of cruise yachts and luxury palaces. They all speak a language and have a  alien like mannerism far away from  earthly realities.

We happen to be Coloured foreigners or more precisely “Muslim”. UK or Labour and Co cannot deal with this “inverted commas” problematic community, and do little to integrate them in society, their half baked half hearted measures alienate more and more foreigners in our midst .Islam is the second biggest religion in the UK with more bearded muslims on the streets than church going Anglicans.Yet the British establishment cannot speak intelligently to more than two million  Muslims it calls  “muslim community”. If there was one monolithic block of people, stereo typed and boxed in labels modern liberal or orthodox for example musilms in south are different from north,Turkish have little in common with Algerians in north London.the grouping within shia and sunni mosques in hugh, just to name a few areas of dissent.

UK is at the cross roads of history, on economic front  it needs cheap labour and immigrants to fuel future growth in middle of recession, the Polish and Czech Europeans are going back to their countries after losing their low paid jobs in construction and cleaning  industries.  The Brown Labour government’s every  attempt  copyies  the xenophobic racist neo conservative  lobby of the defeated  Republican Party and Bush & Co from USA. Labour and Mr Brown are considered  lame ducks who are  frightened of change.

The British society is divided in two distinct classes rich and forgotten  White working classPoor ( living in council estates) and majority of poor nighbourhoods of coloured (Pakistani,Indian and Black jamican)people. There are falling house prices , lack of jobs and opportunities if you are on wrong side of divide. Xenophobia, Racism and Islamphobia  are becoming more acceptable in the society. UK is  the country of broken dreams and disillusiones now.

What is  Liberty and Freedom? Is Terrorism, state or Islamic,the future.  Who is the future leader  Bliar.brown, Cameron or Romeo Clegg. Can the  Racist BNP leader blood sucking Dracula  Mr. Nick Griffin be the next Prime Minister of UK?? Be afraid,be very very scared.
