Friends are Fleeing

February 18th was a quake for the President. A tremble, that had caused much damage to the future designs of the establishment. Though the unseen hand changed the results being in the boundaries of free, fair and impartial elections but the nation has managed to ouster the then ruling party.

Time is so furious, its changes without notice. Who ruled for last five years are lurking here and their today, making weak speeches to give support to a declining status.

The friends who supported actions against the law, the friends who enjoyed kingdom like positions in governmental and semi governmental organization with special perks and privileges, and who were in-capable for the seats but remained on them with the support of special supports are fleeing with the passage of time. Names can be taken like Ex-DG IB is going to settle in Australia, some have taken admissions in foreign education institutes and have left for their study courses, watching the scenario from there to decide to return or not in near future.

Some have been made captive by NAB like ex-President of the Bank of Punjab, Mr Hamaish Khan (Just to tell the readers that this particular gentleman was below the age to be the president of a bank and he was facilitated by an ordinance).

These are the signs of establishment getting weaker as the days are passing. It’s a good sign for the elected government and a bad sign as well. The good sign has been mentioned and the bad sign is the it may strike back to gain its strength. The elected government must not give more time in this regard.

  1. 2007 February: Appears to be highly encouraging for Pakistan as several international financial institutions have painted a very upbeat picture of the current and future outlook for its economy.

Summary of the three reports of the J. P Morgan, the Merrill Lynch, and the City Group on the performance of Pak economy have already appeared in the press in addition to a very positive report of the World Bank released in Washington on “Doing Business in South Asia - 2007, which gives high marks to Pakistan in improving its business environment.

March 2007: What happens ONE MONTH LATER to obstruct & destroy PAK’s bright economic future?

“Itne Jootey Parney chahyiey in logon ko ke shakal badal jaey, jinhon ne Pakistan ka kabara kar dia sirf sawa sal mein”

Aey Allah, in Pakistan ke dushmano ko is dunya mein mein bhi saza dey aur aakhirat mein bhi jo sirf apni ana aur khooshi ki khatir mulk ka satyanas kar rahen hein

Inshah Allah, ab logon ko jald pata chal jaega key kon acha tha aur kon bura.

    Aameen!

    Farid Bhai,

  2. Aashique of Musharraf

Just read the statement of Wasi Zafar, Ex-Minister of Law. This all drama was created by the government, no reap the benefits.

Socond, such financial institution will give good report if you accept dictations from outside financial institutions like WB or IMF. come out of your home and see how people had suffered in last 8 or 9 years, how people looted this country espacially forces.

Just to tell you a person living the life in Rs 16,000/month in 2003 cannot run his day to day expences per month in Rs 32000. This is how inflation has struck in just 5 years.

Last 9 years are full of lawlessness and when there is no law that is called a Jungle. Loins eating everything. come on you are a mature person as far as i know, open eyes of your innerself our childern has to live in this country, dont try to become within those 10 percent who support Musharraf in Pakistan other 90% are against him.

  3. Farid,

This is for you, try to understand until March 2007 everything was much better than what it is in 2 months

I think you are from the class where it doesn’t matter if economy of the country going down but I wiil tell you not since 9 March 2007 but of last two and half months (only) story of your favourite democratic coalition govt.

    1- Rupee DEVALUED from Rs.61 to Rs.71
2- Ata prices increase by Rs.450 per 40 kg (in Shauat Aziz tenure) to Rs.780 per 40 kg bag.
3- KHI stock falls by 1000 points
4- Foreign reserves fell from $16bn to $12bn

“Rupee touches 71/dollar in early trading”

KARACHI: The rupee slumped 3.5 percent against the dollar on Friday, closing at Rs 65 for buying and Rs 67 for selling in the interbank market, after having touched Rs 71 in early trading!

    WELCOME to DEMON-CRAZY !

  4. Farid,

    More food for thought!

The following are RECENT RED FLAGS which are indicators for Pakistan’s economy under this democratic govt.

1- Flight of the capital to Dubai. Some estimates close to $2.5 billion has left Pakistan’s banks

2- KSE has lost more than 1,000 points since early April

3- Finance Minister Dar has not attended except one meeting of the ECC. There was a meeting of ECC today which Dar did not attend. He is more involved in politics of Nawaz Sharif rather then looking after the economy of the country

4- Rupee has lost 7% of its value against the US dollar in the past 15 days

5- KCCI has send ‘numerous’ requests and signals to the Dar to have meetings concerning the economy but they have not heard ‘one’ response from him.

6- The ‘white paper’ that Dar was bragging about white paper of past 8 years of economic performance was nothing but a ‘white lie’ from Dar because he could not prove anything!

Do you want something more to open your eyes?
