It is only after serious THINKING, brother, that I've reached this conclusion...the Laal Masjid people were NOT terrorists. Period! The govt. started all false propaganda against them, to which the liberals have fallen victim.

Here are a few links for the seekers of Truth.

Whatever happened back in 2007 was truly a tragedy.
I totally agree with the writer: "Mass forgiveness" is required on the part of Musharraf, on the part of his army that did not hesitate to attack their own brothers and sisters in Islaam, AND on the part of the ordinary citizen. Where were we when the daughters of this nation were being burnt alive? Where were we when this Karbala took place? I'll tell you where we were: in the safety of our own homes, lying down on the couch while being glued to the idiot-box (called "TV"), and probably munching some pop-corn. It was a good movie going on.
I totally agree with the writer when he talks about the crises the country is currently facing: The govt. had cut off their supply of water and electricity. Isn't that what WE are facing currently? Shortage of water supply, electricity, food crisis...this nation is subject to the wrath of Allaah.

What was their sin? Those little girls of Jaami'ah Hafsah...their parents weren't allowed to see their dead bodies, and even if they did, they wouldn't have recognised their faces. If everything has been "resolved", why are these parents still crying? Why does the mother raise her hands to the sky, tears trickling down her cheeks? What has befallen the father that he has stricken such a saddened look on his face? These are questions that will never be answered by the government.

I tell you, all the propaganda that the media and govt. tried against them failed miserably. The entire nation today (except for a few for whom I pray Allaah guide!) is with these martyrs of Islaam; they want Musharraf to receive capital punishment. As the Qur'aan says, the Truth has arrived and Falsehood has perished; indeed, Falsehood (by its very nature) is bound to perish!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To the woman who sacrificed her own flesh and blood, Hassaan, in the way of Allaah...had her husband sent to jail simply for upholding the Truth...had her daughters (girls of Jaami'ah Hafsah) brutally killed - I love you for the sake of Allaah, and I salute you with all respect!
Salutations to Ummu Hassaan! Woman, you are my hero!

I don’t think Musharraf did anything wrong in the case of Lal Masjid and Jamai Hafsa. The madarsah was built on illegal property and when the foundation is not legal how can everything else can be right. Didn’t they know that it’s against Islamic teachings to do something illegally? and when they don’t know such a basic thing how can they preach Islam on such a large scale? Another thing is that Islam nowhere says that we should come onto the streets carrying weapons to forcefully impose Islam. The students of Lal Masjid were extremists and they were being brain-washed there which was extremely dangerous for Pakistan and its people. They were being taught the wrong meaning of Jihad same like the suicide bombings and they were also being taught that their main objective should be to achieve the rank of a shaheed, it was like they didn’t want to live and just be a shaheed. You guys tell me does Islam anywhere says that it should be our main aim to be a shaheed or kill all the desires of living and just wait for our death and anyways there is no such concept in Islam of doing jihad against Muslims themselves. The objective of the people of Lal Masjid was obviously good i.e to impose Shariah in country but there way of doing that was not right at all. Islam strictly discourages this act that one should be forced to follow Islam but the Lal Masjid people would beat any woman they saw walking on the streets barehead. Whats that?!! I mean helloo do you guys even know the meaning of Islam that you have taken up such a big responsibility. And this all grew up to be such a threat to the safety for the residents of Islamabad espacially that there was a need to take a severe step against them and by the way how could anyone just sit and do nothing seeing that people are preaching wrong Islam and that too in a madarsah whose foundation itself is illegal!!!

My dear Brothers, Sisters Asslam u Alaikum

I prefer to understand, my religion, through "QURAN" and hadith ( For detail, guidence and explanation when ever required, I don't believe in over heard, Mualvi Sahib, or self explaination ) I dare to advice you to do the same for better understanding of Islam, Iman, Ihsan. If we all take law in our hands, it will result in total anarchy ( total lawlessness in our country ) Let all promise to achieve our ultimate goals through justice and law. We can't acheive our goals in a failed state. We all love our religion, and dear Country Pakistan. As long as there is Pakistan, we have hope.
Allah Command us in Holy Quran:

" Take not life which Allah hath made sacred except by way of justice and law "

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 16 Surah Nahl verse 90:

90 Allah Dommands justice, the doing of good and liberality to kith and kin, and He forbids all ‘fahisha’ (shameful deeds), and injustice, and rebellion: He instructs you that ye may receive admonition.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verse 151:

151 Say: "Come I will rehearse what Allah hath (really) prohibited you from": join not anything as equal with Him; be good to your parents: kill not your children on a plea of want; We provide sustenance for you and for them; come not even near to ‘fahisha’ (shameful deeds) whether open or secret; take not life which Allah hath made sacred except by way of justice and law: thus doth He Command you that ye may learn wisdom.

Thus when Allah commands the believers to ‘forbid evil’ and the Messenger of Allah guides us to strive to stop the evil with one’s ‘hands, tongue, or heart’; some people who go to the extremes and (with their hands) start to force every woman to cover up; or (with their tongue) abuse or revile ever woman who does not cover up! On the other extreme, those of weak faith, see that indecency is so prevalent and so rampant, leave alone striving to stop it, they accept it without even a ‘tinge’ in their hearts or (Allah forbid) even indulge in it!

Iman involves a process in which the individual comes face to face with revelation and examines that revelation with his or her powers of reason. The individual weighs the claims of revelation against other alternatives and it is really only after that process of examining revelation and weighing the alternatives that the decision to believe revelation can be called iman . Iman is freely chosen and acquired through the human use of reason. Any believer who performs the rituals of Islam without using his or her reason to weigh the merits of Islamic revelation is imperfect; that person has achieved islam without iman . Properly speaking, submission to God should result from iman rather than exist independently of it.
It is for this reason that one of the most common statements about faith (iman ) in the Qur'an is that it can never be forced on anybody: "There is no coercion in religion." This includes coercion of any kind: physical, mental, or economic. This has led to Islam's tolerance of other religious viewpoints; while non-believers must pay steep taxes in Islamic society, they are not otherwise to be penalized or oppressed because of their faith.

The nature of iman as "faith from reason" has also contributed to Islam's long tradition of rationality. While Christian Europe largely threw away the philosophy and science of the classical world—considering the wisdom of fools—the classical rational sciences continued in the Islamic world from which the Europeans reinherited it in the twelfth and thirteenth centuries.
