Firing Rice International NGO Members Killed in Mansehra

By Sharafat • Apr 6th, 2009 • Category: Misc • 3 Comments

Anjum Zaib, Sadaf, Saifullah and Naeema Kosar, members of NGO went to check a school in village near Shankayari, a mountaneous region of Mansehra. These people were working under the Sarhad Ruler Project and they were purely related to NGO work and for the betterment of the education.

These people were killed brutally after firing. According to the media reports, it could be a law and order situation rather than a part of target killing of NGO members.  Media says that four people were killed when a vehicle they were riding came under attack by unknown assailants here on Monday. According to sources, the deceased were workers of a local non-government organization (NGO) known as Firing Rice International (FRI).

Government Should Take Stern Notice of This.

  1. This was an incident of family enmity on martial issues and cant link it with terrorism.

  2. @Nazia
How you are saying that this was not related to terrorism? Please explain your point so that many other people working with INGOs in the said area would have a little relief…

  3. It was told by investigation officer and also their family members didnt not take this matter in this context. There were no warning of any group to their families that would give clues of terrorism in this case.
