Fighting over uncle moon

Its been 60 years we are fighting on this thing, which is according to some people is non issue, this thing have becoming a serious one this year when many cities celebrated eid after having 28 fasts observed.
Well is this problem so damn complicated that we don’t even bother to talk over it, and come out with a suitable solution. I am some how, regardless many of my liberal views, a true fan of Muslim Unity, and this issue every year makes me sad so much that how come we be united when we are fighting for 60 years on when to start Islamic month.
Many nobles say that we should start following Saudi Arabia as a solution. As much as I know, as I am not very much a science person, there is the difference of 18 hours in the birth of moon in KSA and Pakistan. That’s why we are one day slower than other Arabic world. When it comes to the celebration of Eid in Peshawar and there emphasizing over the so called fact that they have sighted the moon is like something unacceptable to me. Its simple logic that NWFP (Pakhtoonkhwa) is in the western part of the country. So how come in the capital of such province moon be sighted first and the eastern part have to wait for a whole day to sight the moon.
Well I was very happy when I, as per me, came up with a good solution to this “non-issue”; and that was “why don’t we call a meeting or conference of all the Ulmas in Pakistan along with the people with “great eyesight” and have a talk over the issue discuss it under the new scientific methods and end up with a proper decision which is acceptable to all”.
When I put this idea to one of my Mr. X-pert, he said; Sunny (I don’t know why every one still thinks I am a kid) why do you want the monopoly of MASJID QASIM KHAN come to an end”. “What???” was my reply. He said, “Look these people will never want that the rule of 1.5 brick mosque created by MQK dies”.
This made me sad and disappointed as I summed all that up as; we guys love to keep fighting on the issue of Moon (maternal) Uncle. Can’t we be united over this issue? Can’t we go for some give and take over it? Still thinking and looking for the answer…

Chanda Mamoon.
In our child hood we were told that there lives a old lady who keeps on spinning cotton on a mega spinning wheel as it looks like from the shape one could gather on seeing moon that every year she appoints Chanada mamoon to appear on earth and bring those cloths as gifts to the poor kids of this planet.
Later we found that although this Mamoon Jan has no arrival issues for other 9 lunar months but somehow its arrival date especially on Eid day after Ramadhan always becomes fussy when along with its arrival— the dream date on which my Eidee and gifts that my elders have to give to me were also jeopardised.
Ever since we grown up the exact date of Chandaa Mamoon has always been a controversial and it revealed that this date somehow was always hijacked by the Mullah of our Masjid.
I used to wonder and still wonder that Mullah who has never been to any school of any sciences and knows nothing about the astrology or bears any knowledge or study about Sun, the earth or the moon— all of a sudden drops in to exercise his authority and hijacks this date. What right this illiterate, clue less stooge has got to come between me and my Chanda mamoon and shatter our dreams; when we have got the most advanced facilities all available in this world called friends of Sciences that they have constructed Observatories with the knowledge that God has bestowed to mankind and that today man has developed the most sophisticated equipment to ascertain the date of my Chanda mamoon in a perfect manner.
When I enquired from the Observatory; they revealed that next Eid day—Eidul Doha that we want to celebrate is on 28 November 2009 and they can also tell me that when there will be Eids day even in 2020 or even after one hundred year time if I want to know.
And I wonder; what is this Mullah doing here in it that he jumps in and start dictating me on this issue?
Oh—I know now; this Mullah has got two wives;– one lives in Peshawar and other In Islamabad.
After all both wives and score of kids that they have; both have got the full right to celebrate Eid with full pomp and show and in his company. One Eid day is in Peshawar and the next in Islamabad. Every day— a Eid day.
After Bannu and Peshawar suicide attacks, now Bilour has something worthwhile to do.
While you primitive tribes have been fighting about seeing the moon from earth, India has become a space power and became one of the select group of nations to land a probe on moon and also send a moon mission!! hahaha!

Dear friends, This is not only the matter of uncle moon. This is mindset of Mullah.
Hardliner Mullah is not ready for “Ijtehad”. We are living in 21st century and Mullah’s Fiqh is still hundreds years back. There are many issues over which common man is facing problems either it be moon sighting, talaq, taking of still photograph, lonely woman’s Haj, women going out for work …. etc etc
Mullah accepts it that on the other side of his MOBILE PHONE the person presenting Shahadat of moon sighting is speaking truth but Observatory with all equipments and calculations is false while saying that birth of moon has not yet taken place.
Actually Mullah understands very late……. They have allowed “motion pictures” (video) and hope that soon they will allow “still photograph” too. And by the passage of time “Chanda mamoon aa gai” will also be announced by MET department.
Problem is that in N.W.F.P we have some ignorant and the Champions or emperors of Ignorant Mullas who are never ready to listen any one. I am living in Kuwait. I belongs to Haripur Hazara but in Hazara, Swat and kohistan and many other areas in N.W.F.P are celebrating Eid with federal Gov.
These ignorant mullas of Banu and Peshawar and Masjid Qasim Ali ( Masjid Zarar ) are not ready to listen any one. They are the dirty fish. They must go and live in KSA. Insha Allah they will be in great Azaab as they are responsible to missguide the people of Pakistan. Although there are only a few people who follow these type of mullas.
Anothre thing ANP will b no more in next eletions. Insha Allah
I am surprised that if the sky is clear how is this possible that only 100 or 200 ro 10000 people see the moon. The question is that at that day Millions of people are there to see the moon y they all cant see it. How is this possible.
Another and most important thing is that…… How they see the moon before its birth. they are MUNAFIQEEN simply.
May be they have big sonography machine… in which they see the moon before its birth.hahahahhahah
yaar is Bilour ko chowk mein khaiton mein kuwey udaaney ke liye use karna chahiye…
specialy in pea form ..where crows make a huge problem.we should use him there.
