And before 1974 which is birthday for the quota system, why no one complained? You know why because our Urdu brothers had it all. The population of Muhajirs was way less than at the presnet time, and they enjoyed way more job opportunity than the rest of Pakistan. And we all agree that they were more educated than the rest of us unfortunate Pakistanis. They left their heavenly homeland and came to Pakistan. My brothers and sisters check the literacy rate now at present and compare. Literacy in the th city of Punjab is same as Urban Sindhi, hence you will see more of us in the job market as compared to previous years. The point I am trying t make is lets us not make it discrimination issue, but it is more like who has the stick. It was in your hand and now someone else.

Whoever introduced and continue quota system in reality was/is worst enemy of SIND because it is source of regression in Sind and has been a biggest hurdle in it s development. It is the root cause of low standards of performance of public institutions (sp eduction, health,law) in SIND as compared to to other provinces and it a systematic strategy for continued widening of the gap. It is something like falling in the pit prepared for others.

MQM is the custodian of the rights of Oppressed middle class people particularly the Urdu Speaking, Saraiki Speaking people.

your NOON League government is known to be harboring a great deal of bias against the Saraiki people of South Punjab. This is why they have risen up against the Shahbaz Sharif government and started raising their demand for a SARAIKI Province.

MQM is in power for the last so many years but they are not absolute power or in majority at center. Quota system is implemented by the central government and can only be undone with a 2/3 majority in the centre.
You see the fate of Kalabagh dam which could not see the light of the day even after more than 45 years of deliberations.
Similarly the subject of provincial autonomy, however included in the 1973 constitution, could not be implemented due to reasons best known to everybody.
Where MQM is empowered, like the CDGK, they have shown their work on ground and solved many chronic problems of Karachi such as traffic, water management, parks and amenities, etc. etc.
So again blaming MQM for every ill is not fair. Like other political parties they have their pluses and minuses and we have to live with that in a country wide perspective.

I am not diverting anything it is somebody else who is doing for covering up his weakness.
No I don’t think that MQM is custodian of urdu speaking community,It was just a political stunt that was surely get powered due to poor management of govt.I saw urdu speaking people every where doing excellent jobs and business ventures,If something happens in sindh under sindh governments in the name of quota or say any black law is created then see the history mqm is in sindh govt with very important state ministries for last 15 years.Sitting in assemblies is itself symbol of authority so why these black laws couldnt ended in this long span which hardly any other party could have attained in the history of Pakistan.
