By Farid Masood • Feb 18th, 2008 • Category: Pakistan Vote'08, Politics, Worth A Second Look • No Responses

19th General Election 2008 are about to end and who have approach to their constituencies they may have polled their votes. Polling a vote is also a show of independence.

A delegate of Election Commission of Pakistan had offered the house arrested Chief Justice of Pakistan if he likes to cast his vote, he would be sent to Quetta (Balouchistan). The CJP refused the offer.

But there was no offer to the house arrested Brave Soldier of Pakistan, Dr A.Q. Khan was giving this privilege.

There are other people also who are in the house arrest or are lost (been picked up by agencies). This situation of human rights is alarming in Pakistan. Vanishing of people and house arrests are un-lawful. If they are accused of any thing they should be brought into court for trial. We only can hope that this will improve after current elections.
