Economic Might

What describes well the trend in the 21st century should be nothing else than the plain words annunciating the fact that Economic might is the real might. We are living in a world where a strong economy alone can ensure our presence on the world map, for this is a world where economy alone runs all the state affairs.

Presently, when the world peace itself is under the threats the need for a stronger economy is reinforced. Let’s just admit that the empty pockets cannot win wars in the present age rather a strong economy can very well ensure the survival of a nation- take the example of Japan, the only country which was ravaged by the atom bomb in the year 1945 but today it holds an important place in the list of the strongest nations only on the basis of a strong economy. Today’s world is a global village where the strong or weak economy of a country affects the economy of the neighbouring nations as well.

We are living in a country where economy is in control of the limited few. Over the years, it has happened repeatedly that stock market showed sudden gains as well as rapid declines, only to suit those having vested interests. Khanani and Kalia are now facing music when the damage has already been done. It is highly necessary that they be brought to justice lest they should also flee like the imported prime minister who plundered with the national wealth to fatten his own pockets. Unless we have a strong economy we are not ready to face the challenges that they country is facing right now.

  2. You gave japan example. But Japan is one of those countries who have nothing to do with War heads, Atom Bombs, Missile programs. So their all human force is busy in making high tech goods and providing services to whole world. Malaysia is an other example of present.

In Pakistan, most of our Intelligent students joins Military, Nescom, Kadeer research Labs and such kind of Public institutions who are doing work for War heads only. Our Most of Engineers are also joining these institutions. So in given circumstances, how you can expect new technologies and innovative products.

I don’t blame those intelligent students but the Government. Who is hardly caring about its human resource and its proper allocation. Students are innocent. They moves in that direction where every body is going to reach their target. We have a trend of Military because once you became Military Officer then your whole family and relatives are safe from Police, Land Mafia and they all gets respect on one their one Son designation… Father of Major this and this. Sister of major This and This… Wife of major this and This.

One of my friend’s Brother (Electrical Engineer) 6 months back joined PAF as Flying Officer. He was very competent and outstanding guy. Had introduced some good technologies for PEL Company also in his job but He told me that Bhai, I am joining PAF just because my company is full with politics and I won’t grow in such environment. SO it is better to at least join such place where you can work free of tension and after 15 years I will be entitled for all benefits which I can’t get in next 35 years by doing job. I know his view was not right but again this is the trend and people do according to the trends.

Lot of worries, lot of sorrows but still we are doing mistakes and mistakes.
