maybe he is divorced - but if the story is true that he caught dacoits and seniors removed them from prison - and it is true that they were the cause of the bombings - what then?

i am 100% sure that these bombings cannot happen without complicity of authorities - and i am not saying that dsp was investigating these but maybe he accidentaly found out something he wasnt supposed to. dont you find it amazing that there is almost a news blackout now - and the media is trying its best to discredit him.

I am just trying to provide the other side of the picture. I would have felt same as Mudassar Rana if I did not know some previous information about this guy. This has changed my opinion about media responsibility. They should also do some research on a person before posing him as a martyr. I am writing this to avoid letting people jump to conclusions regarding an unusual character. Divorced twice or thrice from women of extremely decent character, open drunkard, and number of registered civil and criminal cases;these are just some basic facts about this person. He has posed as police officers to help some extremely shady chracters during the time of his suspension.
He is an extremely educated person and even used to teach in Murree at one time. He just understands the local discontent with present nature of things and is using it to his advantage via media attention. I am not sure how true is the dacoit story. These guys could very likely be harassed into making confessions or they may be real culprits which is not clear based on the current information. I do agree with the initial post that media should try to remain unbiased in such cases. People do have the right to take an inquiry matter from police internal investigations to court. Lets hope that court does make the right judgement in his case.

Large number of police officers are corrupt, they take big bribes from junior staff which they collect from dacoits or corrupt people who carry on their illegal businesses,

i am student of bba(h)imran babar jameel is teaching us life and learning as well as he is great person in any sense…when 99% people curupet in any community remaing 1% cant even do anything but he should atleast try onece,,,,,,

One should do good research before posting sumthin criticial like this. I haven’t seen this in the news paper or anywhere as it is March 16 today. The police service is playing a vital role in this war on terror. Police and military are the 2 most affected forces as of now. We must praise them for their valiant actions and respect their opinions.
