Dr. Aafia Says “Send My Food to My Son in Afghanistan”
By Muskan Hina • Sep 6th, 2008 • Category: Politics, Worth A Second Look • 11 CommentsAnita Loos - “Memory is more indelible than ink.”
The daughter of Pakistan, Dr. Aafia Siddiqui is facing the trial in the American court, and the charges upon are the most ridiculous one every heard of. She has been through great misery and great pain, and her body is full with wounds and years of torture by the brave U.S soldiers have made her a living corpse.
She is now facing courts and did not appear in court for her latest arraignment. Her lawyer said that because of serious abdominal wounds, Siddiqui has refused to submit to a painful strip search that is required before she can leave federal prison. Dr. Aafia Siddiqui’s Lawyer Elizabeth Fink told a federal judge in New York that Aafia Siddiqui, who disappeared in Pakistan with her three children in March 2003, needs a full psychological evaluation to determine whether she has post-traumatic stress disorder and is competent to help in her own defense. Lawyer Fink also urged that Siddiqui, 36, be examined by experts on the effects of torture.
Now here comes the most weepy part of this brutal story, which exposes the American law and justice:
According to documents described in court by lawyer Fink, Dr. Aafia Siddiqui told prison staff that she feared her son was being starved and tortured, and asked them to take food off her tray and send it to her son in Afghanistan.
Dr. Aafia was tortured and kept starved for years and years along with her kid son. The son is still in the Afghanistan with the barbaric Afghan security forces. These are those Afghan forces, to whom Pakistan rendered full support all those years, when the Russians attack their wretched country. These are those Afghans, who have been parasiting upon the Pakistan for all these years. These slime balls are now torturing the Pakistani kid, and want to earn more bones from their masters in Washington. The more disgusting part is that they have their spineless cronies in Pakistan, who handed over Dr. Aafia and her three kids to them.
If About to be President Zardari has left with even a grain of esteem, he must ask Afghan authorities to hand the son of Aafia over to Pakistan. Otherwise, Pakistan should expel by force all the Afghan immigrants back from the country from tomorrow by force, if anybody doesn’t go back, Pakistan should pick him and throw him/her over the other side of Durand Line.

Muskan,
Quite an emotional appeal. I am sure others reading these words will feel the pain and anger.
Two wrongs do not make it right for us to behave the same way to expel the Afghan refugees from Pakistan. In addition, I also read that the Pakistani government has refused to assist to bring back the son of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui to Karachi, so he can be with his family; due to Ahmed being not a Pakistani citizen. This anger should be directed towards the Pakistani authorities and not innocent people like the Afghan refugees.
What I would like to know is, where is the father of these children? Why has he not made any appeal? That is the other person some of the anger needs to be directed to, in respect to the children of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui.
We can pray for the best. Let’s not forge ahead with more hatred and ignorance.
Regards
Muskan is alwyas right but at last ,she is wrong.
This is not a time to ask questions, this is a time for help. Yes if the Afghans will imprision our kids and yes we will burn them here. Do something or move out or you may be crushed.
If the father is without balls then who cares.
Dear Ms. Muskan Hina,
You are impressive in raising voice against such issues. Keep it up.
Dear Readers,
Last day I was hearing BBC news. Dr. Aafia Siddiqui’s Lawyer’s Elizabeth Fink was appealing to Pakistan Government that it should play its role in taking Dr Aafia Siddiqui from USA to Pakistan. She stated one line in between….which really shake me… She said that, She is a Jew but on humanitarian basis fighting a case for her release without charges/fees… Pakistan government being a Muslim country should at least support Muslim daughter and play role in her release.
Again question arises, where are we standing today. Are we a true Muslims? Maximum charity works are done by Jews and Christians… Where are these greedy Muslims? What is the purpose of our life and where we are going to take greed with us? I must say… she is more good human being than us/Muslims.
Alas! Allah would be really crying on our behaviours and actions. Then we calls every body Kafir but not see inside ourself ever. Are we even touching the level of these Kafirs?
Being a Pakistani.
MST. Aafia Siddqui
I apologize on behalf of Pakistan Government and Pakistani Nation. i am feeling so ashamed, we called ourself muslims.who handing out their daughter to Western countries …. i really have no word to express my feelings here.
May ALLAH protect you and your children.
wt 1 muslim and 1 human can say about it.our leaders fro the sack of money sold thier own nationals.bilal mushraf was brokerage of this deal when she was handed over to US marine major tofeel.in 2003 i heard this news from my friend who was that time in us for education.but in pakistan its was only a little luggage delivery to us.so i wolud like to request all the muslims and human beings to write agianst US and western world by i9nternet in thier net ’s sites.we cant use weapons as our laeders bibded our hands.so its a big souurce
abey oye, we keep calling her our daughter but is she really that innocent? and also she is an american citizen and very well known for her anti american stand. she actually might be guilty of something. I dont support torturing her but stupid emotional post in her favour is not fair either as it doesnt look at the entire picture.
As for the kids, this seems stupid. the only person allegdly talking abt this is Afia herself. the father, Afia’s family and pretty much everybody else is not saying anything. This either means Afia is deranged and the kids are already either with the family or dead, or that this is all a big hoax and this entire issue has again been blown out of proportions by the media.
Also please dont bring humanity or charity in an issue which relates to fundamentalists. If a sucide bomber or his supporters are not humane then they should not be treated like humans. i say if she is guilty of being involved with the Taliban or with helping in killling even one person (dont care who it is) then she got what she deserved.
Its really sad to see the indifference of our leaders towards our own citizen illegally held by american authorities. The whole nation should be ashamed of itself. I wonder if we can even call ourself a “Nation”
I don’t know how to express my outrage. A daughter of Pakistan abducted in her own country with her children then kept for years in captivity, then shot and brought over thousands of miles away from her home to stand trial while bleeding from the gun shots. Only in Pakistan, a country of powerless, voiceless, worthless and now shameless citizens. They will do anything except Not being nice to their American masters. I am ashamed to be associated with Pakistan. No offense to any individual, I am disgusted with myself being a Pakistani. I feel so sad for Aafia and her family and wish I could do something to help her family.
thanks
The Pakistan regime of Musharaf committed these crimes with U.S. assistance.
Stand up, Pakistanis. Stand up, I say.
Two of this woman’s children were brutally tortured, probably to death, in front of her, driving her and her eldest son to madness.
Stand up, Pakistan, you mighty nation. You once great nation.
Stand up and be great again.
President Zardari please please please please have mercy on this woman and her children.
Please, sir. End this travesty.
