in retrospect, i agree with MQM, but i must say that the onus fell to the sitting govt, in particular PPP, took the decision in coordination with the rest of the political parties. i’m not defending the NAR but considering the frightful situation prevailing in the provinces (liberation fronts and statements of “if america and india assist, we will become independent”) it was imperative and wise of the PPP to try to give negotiations and the peace deal an opportunity. on the same note i think we should commend the govt and the military’s cooperation and immediate response to Sufi Mohd when he broke his word. if you look carefully, by giving this deal a chance the govt actually won the unanimous and vocal outcry of the large, silent majority to denounce this extreme and political form of Islam.
i admire your statement but the larger canvas has to be taken into context.

as per yours request I didnt mention that was said to be bad past of mqm.I have given you examples of just latest acts but you didnt respond me accordingly but as usual like your friends trying to trap me with emotional dialogs.I have never shown any kind of political affiliation nor interested in bowing down to such extremes that lower my personal opinions.Why you people take our criticism for mqm against people of Karachi as I again and again clearly told you that if Lahore is our heart then Karachi is our brain, If punjab is our soul then karachi is our backbone.You are feeling pains of Karachi but people of Punjab felt similar intensity of Pain In 1980s when Karachi was under control of mqm gangsters.Yesterday’s Karachi is giving us same picture of today’s swat and We only blame to our military gods for this deadly blunders or same divide and rule policy on us.These talibans are just reminding us old times of Karachi.you can verify my words from old residents of karachi towns like nazimbad, F.B area, orangi,fasial colony etc.
Read my lines all are showing real events happened in karachi and you people never responded on my points that who is responsible for all this mess.You people take no time for your critics to declare us antipakistan , naive or immature and like that.it only reveals your poor vision and limited approach for yours other country fellows.
I am really happy to see if mqm will prove its popularity any where except Karachi hyderabad.Call and award ticket to musharf and told him to contest from Islambad /pindi where he is residing as ruler for 10 years. I am here and you will award what punishment for me if even the army officers of this area will vote for him.on this mqm ticket.
Mqm need of modification for his real actions.Why benazir returned to her land with all death threats ,she knew that people will not accept her absence or swallow her dummy speeches in Pakistan from dubai.That brave women no doubt has lost her life for lust of top seat.Same is here in sharrif why both brothers had returned and now working like dogs of street for proving their credibility that they have lost during their safe exits to Palaces of comforts.So first bring your top leadership in mainstream line of Politics and let him to face all dangers with courage.Such kind of runaways are called B Class leaders who are sheltering on other’s land and preaching bravery and foresightedness to poor people.

Aftab I cent percent agree with your post. Unfortunately they have lost the ability to comprehend, their blind hatred is leading them to no where and I am afraid if this situation persists things would surely be disastrous in future. The hypocritical political parties want to sideline MQM by using such tactics. Taliban issue has exposed their hatred against people of Karachi. I am not sure what will be the end result of this episode but God forbid if something “extra ordinary” happened to Pakistan, these political parties will be responsible for the disaster.

Tanzeel, you must not react to every word one says to provoke you. Virtue is and has always been its own reward, some people are blinded by deep rooted hatered or prejudice but in the end when their selfinterest is threatened then they wake up. Same is the case here and MQM will be recognized as a dvaut patrioritic party & appreciated & supported in the end. People have realized & seen the true faces of the monkeys they have mistakenly trusted in the past, people do see that these so called elected representatives are hiding in holes for self protection instead of coming forward and provide moral support & leadership to their voters. MQM has once again proved where its loyalty is : with Pakistan & Pakistanis. I see a large number of Pakistani people united and support MQM and finally MQM becoming a main stream political force in the country, standing & defending the rights of the ordinary, simple, plain, honest, devoted & truly patriotic Pakistanis.

they will give it second thought and then would surely give 3rd and 4th and 5th thought as they can only do this thing.After failed military operations and lost of trust of people of swat,there left no option for them instead of this though process.This matter will remain under media coverage untill zardari will complete his US trip started from 28th april.In reality this is only ANP or our military who can react and act on them.When and how still not clear.

there is nothing to be rash when someone place real picture in front of you.This area is beyond the control of mqm and that’s why we always requested them to emphasize its local problems relating to worst law and order conditions,power shortages,rise in street crimes day by day, serious discrepancies are coming out in examination procedures and last is registration of all medressahs and its students that have already been doubled in last 6 7 years.
Before 18 feb elections ppp and mqm were against each other especially after 12 may.Dont forget that even farooq sattar was appointed as to be PM form q league but it is only lust of ministries that cause their kangaroo jumping from q league to ppp side.
Protest should be implemented on demonstrations.What kind of single demonstration they done on this taliban issue.
Weak characters’ management has given rise to popularity of sharif brothers other wise we people are quite aware of their real intention.
You dont know the history of development of manshera and swat in sharif period go back to read some history .Shairf had done same thing to swat that was once done by bhutto for chitral people and thats’ why our innocent people remembered them as their heroes.

sher shah suri had written unique history of over throw his enemies through this road.
People followed this route against our establishment,without any specific party flags and they are conquerer of placing right man on his seat.No doubt its sharif party that has cashed its victory over other groups but here credit goes to rehman and taseer planning that they did such blunders for sharif’s unexpected victory.
