Dengue Fever was also due to Musharraf : PPP Says
By Sameer Shaharyar • Nov 23rd, 2008 • Category: Politics • 2 CommentsMore than eight months have passed since the Pakistan People’s Party has assumed the role of ruling party and though they are enjoying full powers in every facet of the government, they have miserably failed to rectify even one thing. Their only consistent mantra is to blame the previous regime for everything. They don’t seem to understand that, this is why there are there and the PML-Q was quashed and routed in the general elections, because people hated for what they stood for, and elected them to bring in the change, but PPP is busy in blame game, mud slinging and begging.
National Assembly Speaker Dr Fehmida Mirza on Saturday said that the absence of community health during the previous regime had caused the outbreak of various diseases, including dengue fever, gastro-enteritis, tuberculosis and cholera. She also made the mandatory claims of improving the health conditions and rendering better health facilities to the masses like Benazir Bhutto did. Then the people became emotionally charged, slogans were raised, speaker smiled and all was ended well, and the Dengue smiled.

It’s a good overall analysis but you didn’t acknowlegde that democracy has been restored and the country’s overall security is not in the hands of one dictator but the entire country.
Hey, check this out . What’s with the smile Sameer. I think that the parliament is working pretty well and it’s not just the health that’s being discussed , it’s all sorts of issues. At least the parliament has not been removed completely. Where do you want to take us. Back to the old Musharrafian Days when innocent people were being bombarded. Even Turkey’s parliament was working back then when the 9/11 event struck us. We were clearly at the mercy of one easily manipulatable dictator. I hope this would help you over come the Musharraf blues.
