Democratizing the Autocracy

By Farid Masood • Aug 28th, 2008 • Category: Politics • 2 Comments

We often hear the term that we are heading towards democracy. If we recall our short memories, these words were in air during 1988~1990 and 1993~1996. Whenever, Pakistan Peoples Party comes in power in the center and off-course in Sindh province the democracy there are loud voices that democracy returned in Pakistan. The situation of democracy in Pakistan is so that one decides like Mr Zardari that he will be next president of Pakistan, political workers (follower) start to make it a democratic decision by submitting its move in provincial assemblies to pose it that the roots of this party want such and such person to hold such political post of the country.

Late Ms Bhutto was the leader, who consulted her companions on any internal or national issue. Sometimes she consulted media and writers of different newspapers to reach to an opinion. Once she asked her friends in the media that how I can be free of corruption charges? Twice she received the answer from her friends in sense of joke that please take divorce from Mr Zardari.

Jokes have some underlying meanings and based on some happenings. AT that time was Mr Zardari so controversial, is he so now? The post of President of Pakistan needs a person a true Pakistani and an un-controversial personality.

Another question why he is not following-up the case of BB’s murder in United Nations?

  1. Yeah, I also showed my concern in my post Three Months, Three Days about the same that where is that case and what is the update.

We are bad in same problems… Politicians have literally learnt nothing from past. Number game is again started and Allah won’t give us another chance. So lets suffer…!

  2. Congratulations! All pretenses apart you have a ‘President” who is a self-confessed psycho (dementia, deep depression, sucidal and more) statements he filed in UK courts in addition to having the worldwide reputation for being a master thief, crook and bandit! Suits your feudal masters and more importantly the over nourished generals (how many do you have?). Pity the Pakis, I am getting out!

PS. How much is the assessment for the penthouse that Zardari has on E. 72nd St. in NY and who pays for it, more importantly what is he declaring his income to IRS. Hm something to look into. There is money if you can catch him lying to IRS!
