Pakistan can never be a democracy. I think its got into a irreversable condition of a failed nation status it can never emerge out of it. I see its own Frankensteins monster destroying it all the time. It can be only remembered as an example of a state for other states not to emulate.

SAD but TRUE. I offer my condolences.

Jalal,

Nice thought process, but if you see history of Pakistan, people who are in power or get in power are mostly because of influence of religious people like for example so maulana from big institution backs so party, or the other.

Also the other reason for this not happening is democracy in Pakistan is not a true and powerful one. any army general can come take control of the country. Why is army and other related agencies not brought under govt. control. Why there are opposition for doing this?

In India the political party play the same games but on saying this particular caste is minority and tries to get the votes from them, that is what is called vote-bank politics. Muslims in India are considered as minority caste and they have reservations. This is very popular and famous in India. As per the constitution of India the reservation that were made while the country was formed was supposed to last only for initial few years. But as these political party saw benefit in it, they are not letting reservation to go.

The points you have mentioned is not a easy task to do, but it can be done only by people who care for the country at large and only about the region they come from. People in Pakistan say Narendra Modi Gujarat Chief Minister is anti-Muslims and all, but also look at what he has done for the state at large. Currently Gujarat is the no. 1 state which attracts large number of industries, standard of living has increased, per capita income has increased, poverty has reduced, many job opportunities have been created.

Whatever he did in Gujarat might be wrong, but I would also say that Muslims in the state are also mischievous. sometimes for the greater good of people at large you need to take a few steps that are not good.

Democracy is only good if people are free to choose according to their will and not choose less evil as is unfortunately in many parts of Pakistan currently. I hope that it will change as people go through this process more often and not after every decade or so.
