Bush hasnt left Mush in the cold alone, Just recently CIA supported Mush’s version of Benazir’s murder, and now Condi, the beautiful has said in Davos that Pakistan is their ardent ally. Everyone except Bush and Mush, is concerned.
Very good writeup, yes I agree. These are new and changing times and they cannot really suppress and shutup the people now. Imposing ban on media or judiciary isn’t going to work out for them, and if they try to rig the elections, the fall back will be very tough and very dangerous for Pakistan.
I fully agree. Musharraf is not the relative of US. America only knows and care about its interests, and that’s justified. Every country should keep to its own interests. The problem is Pakistan is preferring US interests over its own interests. It’s not our war, which were are now fighting in our own land.
After imposing emergency came on TV and told the nation that there were two options before me, 1. to get aside and give the government to the nation, 2. to send the judiciary to their homes and nominate new judges. I have to act in the greater interest of the country and threw the judiciary out of courts as they were the cause of lawlessness in the country(every one believes that its not true as he saved his chair).
The option No. 1 was advice from a person of elite class and if Mush have done that he could have become a hero again and people may forgive his wrong doings, but he didn’t. Now after almost 3 months nation is not going to bear him for a second. The out way is paved and he is being pushed towards quiting.
