It’s a war against all the extremist elements present across the globe. Whether it’s Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan or LeT (Lashkar-e-Tayyaba) in Pakistan, the war is not about eliminating a specific group, its more on the lines of changing the mind-sets of the people. The current situations demand that we put our difference aside in larger national interest. The army needs moral and ideological support to carry out this operation. This is not a conventional battle and what we are doing for now is tackling the monster. The infection however remains unchecked for long lasting peace we need to promote voice of peace and modernity so that Pakistan can be liberal progressive democracy.
