Why should British Foreign Secretary David Miliband remain left behind when every joe and boucher are getting medals? After all he has also done what Boucher has done and even has done much more than the Joe Biden. He is young and has twisted the arms of Pakistani leaders with more rigor and strength.

David is not the one who likes to stay behind when the goodies are being distributed among his comrades. David is coming to Islamabad over simmering relations between Pakistan and India in the wake of Mumbai attacks. Before coming, he will sprout fire and give Pakistani officials some creeps by issuing some statements in the favor of India and pressing Pakistan to do more.

It was the same ‘Do More’ which earned Boucher and Biden a medal and by using the same technique David would also get a medallion. That and this is the sure fire way to extract a medal from Pakistani leaders right now. Just say ‘Do More’, and then issue a statement against Pakistan and in favor of India, and then come to Pakistan to talk it with Islamabad and voila, Zardari will himself adorn your chest  with a Sitara or Hilal.
