Daniyal Aziz Attacks Chaudhry Shujaat

By Salman Mugsi • Aug 17th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 2 Comments

I vividly remember the telephone called made by Daniyal Aziz to a news channel during a talk show in which he alleged that his life was under threat and if something bad happened to him then the culprits would be Chaudhry brothers of Gujrat, the then blue-eyed boys of Musharraf.

Former chairman of the National Reconstruction Bureau (NRB) Daniyal Aziz has tried numerous times in the past to enter the Pakistan Politics, but only made some mark when former dictator Pervez Musharraf appointed him as Former chairman of the National Reconstruction Bureau (NRB). What was the achievement of this NRB is anybody’s guess. What it reconstructed is still to be seen.

Now Daniyal Aziz is spearheading the Nazims across the Pakistan, but failing to get any massive support, as local government system is dying its own death as it’s patron Musharraf is in self-exile. Chaudhry Shujaat also want some action, and as he knows that PML(Q) is a dead horse, also interested in leading the Nazim Movement. Danyial obviously doesn’t like that.

According to the media sources, Daniyal Aziz on Saturday alleged that PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain once offered him bribe to abandon the local government system. Addressing a news conference, Daniyal claimed he was given a leather bag containing huge money prior to the February 18 elections to wind up the local government system and stop support to direct election of Nazims.

Things getting pretty interesting for the men of Musharraf.

  1. Mr. Mugsi,

Before you opine on the state of politics in Pakistan perhaps you should take a crash course in the English language. Its morons like you that have strong opinions and endless vitriol but absolutely nothing to contribute that is in any way useful.

  2. It is easy to sit back and comment on a single individuals efforts to change the entire political system. Why don’t you get off your fat ass and try something yourself!! What are you doing to benefit politics, or yourself?
