Country Swelters and People Burn

By Mohsin Sehgal • Jul 22nd, 2009 • Category: Politics • One Response

Violent and strong protest and rallies continue in various cities and towns and villages of Pakistan from Karachi to Khyber including its capital Islamabad against scheduled and unscheduled loadsheddings of 12 to 18 hours in many cities, towns and villages of the country.

While the rulers and leaders bask in airconditioned homes and cards and planes and issue statements in comfy settings, the enraged protesters set on fire bogies of a train in Jhang. Traders and citizens are protesting on loadshedding of electricity and price increase of petroleum prices.

The lava is oozing out of the country and its a writing on the wall for the government. This could go out of hand any time and government must act before its too late.

  1. This year is one of toughest year in the history of our nation.even nature is showing us harsh response this time,
it seems like the stone age but I think that we are showing the world that we don’t need electricity, water or anything like that to survive - give us a candle and a bucket and we can survive. Its a bit sad really. Civilian rule is terrible especially this one.
Yes but surely we need weapons arms and modern army to defend us from……….whom?
