The population of entire Palestine was just around 3,50,000 in the mid 1800s, mostly scattered Bedouin populations. And much of the region was devoid of any settled cities, mostly uninhabited desert land. Palestine has never existed as a country. History is a testament to this truth!

I’m not providing justifications for the creation of a Jewish state, rather, I’ve only emphasized upon the need for bilateral ties between Pakistan and Israel. Remember, that Pakistan is not a satellite state of the Arab regimes. We are an independent country with an independent foreign policy.

In Arab countries, Arabs treat Pakistanis who go there to work, like ‘dogs’. Such is the brutal attitude of Arabs. So why should our democratic government support Arabs, when we have no conflict whatsoever with Israel?

Pan-Islamism is a political theory of Islamists and fanatics, which has nothing to do with the Holy teachings of Islam. I was rather surprised yesterday, when my maternal grandfather, who was born and lived in Brisitsh India till partition, was telling me how Hindus, Moslems, Sikhs and Christians lived like brothers then, never interfering in one another’s religious matters, always respecting one another. It was only during partiton, that the first instances of communal violence were witnessed in British India.

Pakistan must have diplomatic relations with Israel. It will help in India/Pakistan peace also.You have very clearly exposed the MUSLIM UMMA theory bandied about by Mullahs in pay of black goggled Saudies.Musharaff had intitated the process and i am sure Zardari will succeed.It is good for the region and in your national interest.

This post was made in the light of political correctness and to generate the controversy that i have to say it has managed to do. I hope you are satisfied Mr Hassan I do wonder whether you did it in the light of creative thinking or to get attention.
In my humble opinion foreign policy is decided on the what benefit can the relationship bring to the country and the dis advantages of establishing diplomatic relations with Israel would far out way the advantages. We can live without this one country which is no friend of ours.
