Contempt Court Law finally declared as null and void!!
By Guest Blogger • Aug 5th, 2012 • Category: Politics • 5 CommentsOur way or no way, hats off to Supreme court, finally Supreme Court declared contempt of court law as null and void, a few days ago parliament approved contempt court law that was basically aimed to block the dictatorship and biased attitude of SC, Parliament wanted to get immunity that was an attempt for creating discrimination among the people, along with this there were some unconstitutional clauses in the contempt court law, so regarding this contempt court law on Friday hearing it was finally declared as worthless. While in the hearing on Friday a five member bench headed by chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudry remarked that immunity provided in the law is unconstitutional. Dozen petitions were filed against it and petitioners came up with strong arguments while govt. didn’t have any strong arguments in favor of new contempt court law.so it was declared as null and void by the SC.
By taking this decision SC protected common man and democratic as well, laws are for everyone, and no one is above law. Once rulers elected by the people, then they start looking for ways to protect themselves. They consider themselves as god fathers; I admit power is like opium once gained no one want to lose it, but everything looks good in limits, when it get out of limit it becomes worst.
Strong judiciary prevail sanity in the country, when one feels he is treated equally it satisfied him well and develop a sense of accountability. We being Muslims are taught to do justice at equal levels in every sphere of life. Simply implementation of pure and strong judiciary is first step towards the betterment of things,. Proper law and order once implemented in the country and then followed by the appropriate check and balance will settle all the problems for sure.

Is Supreme court of Pakistan manned by Judges who are not corrupt or under influence of foreign powers? Judges are also Humans just like elected MNAs
Judiciary should be free from all type of pressures, corruption or any other scandals. we have lawyers who can help us guide in the right manners because of the fact that they have expertise in this field.

Judges are not corrupt if there is any you may find & say with authority that would be very astonishing & exempted from rest of all others believe me & mark my words because you don’t know such criteria of SC judge one who is entitled to become JUDGE of the same court.
