CNG New Price Rs 38.50 / Kg

Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced increased rates of compressed natural gas (CNG) from Rs 36 to Rs 38.50 per Kilogram. This is second evidence of increase in CNG price in last three months. New prices shall be applicable from 20th March 2008 (today).

Mr Sana-ur-Rehman, Central Chariman All Pakistan CNG Association has reported that Sui Northern and Sui Southern Gas Companies are working on rate increase by 24%. By this increase of 24% is introduced on gross rate of CNG then new rate will be over Rs 47 per Kg.

Time will come when we have to start planning to convert engines on Diesel.
