CJP Iftikhar Chaudhary with Salman Taseer
By Salman Mugsi • Jun 11th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 4 CommentsI still remember the insults and derogatory remarks hurled by the governor Punjab Salman Taseer on the protesting lawyers in the streets for the restoration of the judiciary. The threats by the Salman Taseer still resonate in my ears and he was on the ardent supporter of Musharraf and then Zardari in their efforts to quash the lawyers movement.
Punjab police and agencies spared no brutal tactic to suppress the lawyers movement upon the orders of the Salman Taseer. It was Salman Taseer who up till the last moment advised Zardari to not to restore the chief justice and Salman assured Zardari that he had the muscle to stop the long March. It was when Nawaz Sharif daringly broke all the barriers and Taseer was on the run and COAS asked Zardari to restore the top judge virtually on gun point.
Isn’t it painful to watch chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary meeting with the same person? Hell, it’s no business of CJP to meet with the official figures and meeting with figure like Taseer? First Holbrooke and now Taseer? Is he the same CJP?

Ha ha ha…..It was only a movement to get himself restored, to regain the perks and privileges that he always wanted
He is not a judge but Leader of Corrupt GANG. Do not forget all his Perks and getting Mercedez Benz for him and promotion of his son to grade 18 with in two years? This Chor Chaudhry will get his justice soon.
Usually we people start considering senior officials as super-humans. If CJP meets high-level Government officials, why to get upset? Should he be revengeful and mean? Interacting with the state functionaries is good omen for future of system.

the people who didn’t want to see his restoration through public force, always ready to attack on him .This way they achieve some goals like satisfaction after degrading him, try to malice his strong personality through little little scandals,or sometimes part of govt propaganda team to force people that they had wrongly supported a man.
