Pakistan was founded by a party of mostly irreligious upper class Muslims headed by a an Mr. Jinnah. Since the leaders of the Muslim League were non representative of the people they wished to lead, they adopted the tactic of invoking God and his Prophet and promising the deeply religious Muslim public an Islamic state … a promise they never intended to honor.

The statement is part of national assembly proceedings, so one can trace it down in the archives. Also Sherry Rehman recorded a strong protest in the assembly against the open rally of Jamat-al-dawa which is banned militant organization and yet it defies all the laws and such rallies are conducted and facilitated by the authorities. Such elements need to be apprehended we must stop this radicalization of our society

Pakistan needs to redo the religious indoctrination in our society which leads to many sectarian hate groups, in the last national assembly session the Minister for State Interior affairs Tasneem Qureshi said that Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah supports the banned sectarian outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba. This case needs immediate action for we cannot let such activities foster.
