Chocolate has a deep effect on our body, as eating a chocolate influences the working of the central nervous system. It relaxes the body, producing a feeling of elation. Chocolate is good for health especially for the heart, due to the two composing compounds in chocolate,caffeine and bromine. Caffeine, an alkaloid, is the most widely consumed stimulant on earth as it is beneficent largely to health.Caffeine enhances the performance of the central nervous system. Along with increasing the flow of blood in the brain, caffeine increases the attentiveness, facilitates thought configuration and decreases exhaustion. Caffeine plays a significant role in uplifting the mood, raising the spirits, and internally enhancing both cardiovascular function and respiration. When one consumes chocolate, the release of endorphins in the brain leads to feelings of well being. Most of these chemicals are found in very low concentration, but they are extraordinarily dependable in their biological effects with the good feelings chocolate lovers assign to their drug of choice.
Chocolate is good for the heart as it increases levels of serotonin in the brain, inducing a state of relaxation for the body and placing less pressure on the heat. Serotonin goes a long and delicious way to improving the emotional health, proper sleep, and mind relaxation, and help in fulfilling a balanced food need causative to several behavioral and physiological functions. In case of low level of serotonin, one can experience depression and increased aggressiveness. And in the case the level of serotonin rises, the results are similar to feelings of excitation, desire,responsiveness. Violent behavior, aggressive behaviors, and higher rates of suicide, are mostly caused by reduced brain levels of serotonin. Many people eat chocolate as a form of self-medication, whether they are aware of these facts or not.
