Chittar Litter Galore Shown By Media

By Shayan Khan • Mar 4th, 2010 • Category: Politics • No Responses

Clips upon clips, videos upon vidoes are being telecasted by the private media, especially the GEO tv network showing the policemen torturing and beating accused men publicly. In one video from Jalalpur Bhattian, even member of provincial assembly from PML-N Shahid Hussain Bhatti was present and was assuring people that now just leave everything to him and to the police.

Police torture within and outside the police station is not a new thing and it’s a part of thana culture and the term police gardi explains it. But the visual moving images of such torture have jostled the people and a new wave of hatred against police is sweeping the country. Private torture houses and the drawing room are part of this ignorant and cruel police system.

Media’s role is very plausible in this regard and one hopes that perhaps police matters will improve.
