Chief Teray janisar…

Looking at current situation of lawyers-media clashes and lawyers fierce attitudes now a day, I feel compelled to write on whole lawyers’ movement that Pakistanis have seen and experienced during last few years, from a different perspective. Chief justice Iftikhar M. Chaudhry was suspended by Musharraf on March 9th, 2007. Thanks to our “courageous” print and electronic media, that most of us know exact details of even the dialogues between Musharraf and Iftikhar Chaudhry that day. We also know the reasons why CJ was suspended, most of us can even recall whole list of blames that Musharraf had put on CJ to suspend him and put him to face grand judicial council. We also remember how quickly grand judicial council was called to Islamabad over-night. We also remember how quickly Supreme Court bar council had reacted and gathered the same day to start one of the biggest social civil movements of the history of Pakistan! And we also remember that the actual reasons to put CJ put off scene might have been his follow up notices on ‘missing people’s cases’ and Pakistan steel mill verdict. We remember quite a lot of details regarding CJ issue and CJ movement. Such an influx of information and immensity of movement has made us almost incapable of analyzing this whole issue without any bias at all. Due to lawyers’ wrongful attitudes with their old-days partners, the fellows from print and electronic media, in a few incidents recently, I feel compelled to analyze this movement with a bit less of a bias. First of all, I admit that, like every other Pakistani, I have kept soft corner for lawyers movement and I have believed that Musharraf did quite a lot of mistakes, and suspending CJ was one of the biggest ones.

But, this issue has attained such an enormity in our history that we need to analyze this without a bias, because our generation will be answerable to many unanswered questions regarding this movement. First of all, let us think of the time when CJ issue surfaced over the sociopolitics of Pakistan. It was the time, when Musharraf, despite his faithfulness towards Bush administration, was trying to play some cat and mouse games with USA. The allied capitalist conspirators had planned for years to chop off Balochistan and some areas of NWFP (Taliban hoax methodology and hazy war-on terror drama). And, while on climax of their conspiracies. Musharraf was trying to play smart with them on few issues. This was the time when Pakistan’s secret service agencies like ISI, MI and IB, despite their own differences, were providing hindrances in the path of allied capitalist conspirators. Not only was that Musharraf unable to tame these agencies for Allied capitalists, but he was actually buying some ideas from these agencies. (Lal Masjid being a major example).

This was the time when Musharraf was taking huge funds from USA, but was trying to play small time games to limit CIA’s and allied forces operation on ground in Pakistani areas. Bush administration was about face the most difficult presidential campaign for McCain in the history of republicans, while they were very much inclined to speed up ‘process’ to do a major operation in Afghanistan – NWFP – Balochistan, in order to boost up their campaign, and tone down the effect of upcoming economic crunch. Somehow, Musharraf was not being very useful to serve this whole timing. And fortunately, or unfortunately Benazir and Nawaz Sharif were being given a very hard time by Musharraf administration. In short, despite the fact that Musharraf was being mischievous with Allied capitalists, his hold on power of Federation of Pakistan was quite good. Although he had tried to control ISI on US push, but ISI’s response on CIA’s infiltration in Balochistan and NWFP was very harsh in 2006 – 2007, and Musharraf used to show his indifference over few such issues.

This was the time, when Musharraf’s so called famous civil advisory was at one side, while ISI operatives were on the other, while Musharraf in the centre, trying to balance out things as per his own intellectual limitations! Politicians had no worth more than just a face value of democracy. Musharraf’s civil advisory was very well known for their contacts with CIA. (And that is why they should also be penalized along with Musharraf, as they are still on ground in Pakistan). And this was the time when Musharraf’s this advisory raised an advice to take action against CJ based on few “traditional” and “usual” corruptions charges. Quite unexpectedly, CJ stood against Musharraf, and magically, the movement got very deep roots within lawyers’ community in an unbelievably quick time. Initially, the situation was as if, ISI had got a golden chance through this issue, to take on the CIA-inclined civil administration of Musharraf. But this hypothesis was too simple and too good to be true. Irrespective of efforts by suspended CJ and enthusiastic movement by lawyers, some questions surfaced soon. How could any local agency sponsor such a massive socio-political movement, against the people in power under their nose? This question had literally no answer. So, there had to be some explanation for this question. Lawyers undertaking this movement were quite a lot in number.

All were on strike for years, and majority of them had no source of income whatsoever. Yet, a huge influx of money was evident during this movement. The worthless political government of PML-Q and MQM was blaming cash flow on PML-N. But, in reality, PMN-Q and MQM were such small and worthless pieces in these huge integrated conspiracies going on in Pakistan that their political wit was simply not enough to reach out for actual roots of this issue. Anyway, we must admit, that political opposition parties may have been involved in maintaining cash flow in this movement, considering an analogy of Tahreek-e-Nizam-e- Mustafa in late 70s. But, this was not the end of chain. A very well justified and logical hypothesis can be made that, this was actually CIA and other Allied forces agencies, which had actually used their people of Musharraf’s civil administration to fire up this issue, and then used opposition parties and Musharraf’s other opponents to add fuel to this fire. Punjab and Sindh were especially engaged in the immensity of this movement, while the areas of Balochistan and NWFP which were the actual centre of conspiracies of Allied capitalists, were smartly kept out of the effects of this movement.

Even the religious political powers which were ‘whole-heartedly’ supporting movement, and had strong political hold in NWFP and Balochistan during that time, were ‘prohibited’ to take this movement in these areas! Punjab and Sindh were involved in this movement to such depth that stage was perfectly set for major military operations in the areas of Balochistan and NWFP. The fire of this movement was fueled to such an extent that it burned Musharraf down, and brought PPP and PML-N in power, especially in Sindh and Punjab (and not-so-much in Balochistan and NWPF). Civil society was so made deeply involved in lawyers’ movement, that CIA and other allied capitalist agencies were ready for major strike in Balochistan and NWFP. They used their players like Mehsuds, Fazalullahs and BLA very smartly to push Pakistan towards huge military operations in that region, which would eventually turn into a NATO forces operation, and these regions will automatically go into hands of Allied capitalists practically. As we comment today that, a whole generation of (east and west) Pakistan got involved in a huge conspiracy in late 60s in an anti-Ayub movement.

Another whole generation got involved in another huge conspiracy, in late70s in the form of Tahreek-e-Nizam-e-Mustafa. The allied capitalist forces got their fruit out of their conspiracies. Today, we are the generation, which is getting involved in a multi-threaded, very well woven conspiracy by these evil forces. We will have to answer a lot of questions to our generations to come! At the end of this article, I just have one quick comment. If we all agree that
current struggle and any sacrifice whatsoever of any corrupt politician, who looted our beloved land, cannot be washed off with any NRO, then we should also principally agree, that any judge who has taken oath under any PCO, who has given legal authorities to any rogue dictator even to amend country’s constitution, cannot wash it off with any of sacrifice, struggle, and any “partial justice” verdicts! Everyone is accountable by the laws of ALLAH and land. We all need to strive together to save our beloved land from all devilish conspiracies of these rogue allied capitalists.

O people of Pakistan let us revive our pledge on which our ancestors created this land – Unity, Faith and Discipline. May Allah protect us from all  conspiracies and deceptions.

Pakistan Zindabad.

  1. In all the Pakistani affairs may these be political or economy, there is always a fly in our soup which comes dashing in to it from abroad. Most of the Pakistanis they believe that it is CIA which do programming and guides it to our soup cup by precision target homing devices in operation within our country.

On the other hand, our armed forces they consider them self the elite and the sole guardian, the saviours and all time protectors of this nation. So time and again they came and took over the rein of this country in their own hands. Whereas politician whenever they had the chance rather than serving this nation they were seen filling their coffers and were found always ready to escape aboard at their first opportunity to deposit the pillage outside of country.

In the presence of freewheeling Pakistani media that nothing remains hidden; it is heartening to note that all these lackeys and stooges, they started accepting it that they robbed, they plundered but they kept the faith—– the faith in their own mother land. They now think that; woh ghar ka hou ya bahar ka; her dukh kaa madawa ghar main hey.
It’s time for accepting the truth and asking for the forgiveness of their misdeed from the public. ARY News Channel is the pioneer that they took a lead by presenting Brig Imtiaz, DG IB who against all the odds has started exposing the misdeed of all the arrogant and haughty political parties and their leaders like nawaz sharif.

It is time that Truth and reconciliation which is the call of the day be recognised as such and accepted whole heartedly.
