Change We Cannot Believe In

Obama doesn’t have the powers simply to change the course of war against terror anywhere in the world and Pakistan is no exception. Larger Strategy regarding the Pakistan and Afghanistan will not be changed, though lip service will transform many times.
US is happy with the Pakistan as Pakistan delivers everything asked and now with the added benefit of deliverance under the hood of a democratic government. US soldiers are using Pakistani soil. US Drones are using Pakistani soil and air and US ships are using Pakistani waters. US supplies travel through Pakistan and nothing is spared for the Americans in the country.
Even the domestic political dynamics in the country are outlined by the Americans and they have the final words in every crisis. No deadlock or impasse could occur in the country, because Americans are there to resolve it. Americans didn’t panic that much due to their economic meltdown, but they shuddered when Long March progressed towards Islamabad and overnight things got resolved.
So all this talk of retooling if American approach in this region is mere cosmetics. This is the Change we cannot believe in.

Why are you shouting now? Your country has long been doing these things. From the era of General Zia Pakistan has been following the path that is shown by America to them. You have been happy till now when the Americans used to send huge amount of money in your country under the name of different types of aids. So what is the problem now?
Pakistan and its people have never tried to stand on there, they have always been looking for support from US, China, Saudi and friends of Pakistan forum, etc. Guys stand up on your own and you will not be in the situation you are now. It will take time to reach that position but it will be reached.
yes i agree Dr hassan but instead of criticizing U.S we should promote courageous leader ship here instead of weak personnel at top.
If change is like that evil replaces by evil and devil swaps devil then there is no harm of rejecting such unpleasant and fatal change.
