Cats Safeguarding Milk in Karachi

By Salman Mugsi • Mar 2nd, 2010 • Category: Politics • No Responses

The smouldering current tension on the horizon of the Karachi is not only very ominous for the city, but also very alarming for the country. Though almost all the major parties of the city except Jamat e Islami and Tehrik e Islami are out of the government, the big guns like ANP, MQM and PPP are coalition partners.

Target killing is not something vague, though the term is. Karachi is the biggest city population wise, and its demographics are very complex. Things are diverse and different even at the street level. In the same locality, things, cultures and preferences are different at many places in Karachi.

Now the local bodies elections are around the corner in the Karachi and the Karachiites are very wary of the ethnic riots which are a grim reality. Karachi is brimming with legal and illegal weapons, and every party has got trained snipers and gunmen who are adept at killing the targets.

The citizens of the Karachi are wondering what to do and from who to ask for help and safety. Cats are safeguarding the milk right now in Karachi.
