Can Raja Deliver?
By Ali Yar Khan • Jun 26th, 2012 • Category: Lead Story • 4 CommentsDo you know who Noor-ul-Amin is? He was the Prime Minister of Pakistan once just for two weeks. Yes nobody knows him and I am sure that those who were living during his era cannot recall him either. In our more than six decades of turbulent history, we have had 25 Prime Ministers and 4 military dictators. Those four dictators are far more itched on our memories than those premiers.
Will Raja Pervaiz Ashraf be anonymous like Noor ul Amin or will he do something stellar to get famous in the pages of history? Time will tell, but the facts tell different story. Raja will live in the pages of history but likely not due to his service for the country or nation, but due to his loyalty to his master Asif Zardari and due to Rental Power Plant scandal and his massive corruption in the property business.
Raja Ashraf has started calling meetings about the energy crisis and he is chairing them with full might. This is a familiar scene if you recall when he was minister of water and power. Instead of taking hope from this, the people are dreading that Raja will eat up those two hours of electricity which people are getting out of 24 hours. That is the credibility and impression of Raja Rental. WAPDA officials are also openly saying that they see no hope as they have gone through this inept drill before.
Can Raja end load-shedding? Can he stop locking horns with Supreme Court? Can he stop Balochistan operation? Can he improve law and order in KPT and Karachi? Can he ensure a free and fair next elections?

RPA can never deliver, rather he will spread more panic among his cabinet members because of his speaking habit with improper calculation & not to read of upcoming events last result embarrassing for Jiyala & Co. as yet proved without any ambiguity.
If he can deliver on his speech That the power of the Parliament is supreme in a democracy, then he would have done yeoman service to his country. Supreme court has to interpret the laws passed by the parliament but cannot take over the role of home, police, army etc.
Awesome. Raja Gidh
Raja will do nothing. bcoz he is not new in this Govt, we all know very well wt he has done for us, so no more hopes from him.
