Can Government Save Islamabad from Taliban ?
By Ali Yar Khan • Feb 14th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 4 CommentsIn ongoing operations in Darra Adamkhel and Swat, Pakistan army, one of the best in the world has made considerable advances, but as a side-effect, Talibans have announced retaliation in Islamabad. Taliban mean business this time and if not Islamabad, its people are in grave danger.
Taliban even have condemned and threatened some religious leaders of Afghan war to get out of the area otherwise they will be killed. The Taliban have accused some militant leaders of the tribal areas and some leaders of the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba, Harkatul Mujahideen and Hizbul Mujahideen of trying to stop youngsters from fighting the Pakistani forces.
Now Taliban are clearly fighting against Pakistan. There is no doubt about that. Now its about Pakistan versus Taliban. Taliban have called those religious scholars and fighters as ‘pro-Pakistan.’ Taliban are using the name of Islam and Shariah to get the support of local people. Now the question is that whether government and its security forces could save Pakistanis from suicide bombers emanating from Swat and Wana?
Taliban are striking at the Pakistan. After the brutal killing of kidnapped Polish engineer Piotr Stannczak, Pakistan has once again become the top dangerous country in the world. World is still noting about kidnapped Chinese engineer Long Xiao, who is in the custody of Taliban in Swat and Afghan Ambassador in Pakistan Abdul Khaliq Farahi Afghan ambassador and also for Iranian diplomat Heshmatollah Attarzadeh, who was also kidnapped from Peshawar.
Extreme steps are needed to combat Taliban.

Finally Pakistan and its people are realizing that there is no bad or good terrorist.Pakistan state sponsored and trained terrorist which you successfully used against India and turning the heat on its masters.
You have taken the first step forward by admitting to your mistake and I welcome it. But more needs to be done and I hope Pakistan does it for their own good.

Taliban are getting support of people because your Army is playing double game by allowing American Predators to operate from turbat,wazirstan,torkhem etc.the targetting is done with knowledge of pakistani army as told by Senator Feinstein but your support for USA is exposed by Taliban.
Why people are supporting Taliban but not your army. I hope you will answer this truthfully instead of blaming Indian RAW.

Islamabad is save we should worried about only swat, Swat its called Switzerland of Pakistan, what happened in swat no one can believe, everything come to an end, a ordinary life of one local individual is lifeless, what our leaders are doing? There are making fun on it??? It’s not time to compose political principles
I want to appeal to all pray for our Pakistan and Pakistani people and also pray that our leaders get some sense to effort for Pakistan, they are member of staff of Pakistan they should work for Pakistan not for their own profit
