Cabinet Meeting 1948 versus Cabinet Meeting 2009

Quaid-e-Azam looked up and replied sternl, startling the ADC: “Whichever of the Ministers wish to have tea or coffee should drink it before leaving his home or when he returns home. The Nation’s money is for the Nation and not for the Ministers!”
In 2009, just before the cabinet meeting, a group of secretaries and ADCs held a meeting for two hours, prepared a briefing, and then the chief secretary came to Prime Minister and asked,”Sir what will be served in the meeting after 9-course lunch?Tea, Coffee, or some other imported thing?”
PM Gilani looked up and said,”You are incompetent, you sod. You should be knowing the likes and preferences of each cabinet member. You must have a dossier as what they like on this specific day at that specific time. What come asking me? Don’t you think, I have better things to do? Am I here just to decide the menu for the cabinet meetings?

Is this trend it limited to our cabinet meetings only? Our whole economy is spent thrift and majority want to spend lavishly and specially when it is on account of others. Whether it is military or civilians, every body follows same trend.
Don’t be offensive, I meet many nationalities and come to conclusion that our living standard is higher, regardless what we are earning and how much responsibilities we have to fulfill. I tried many time to convince others that do not spend roughly, and if u want then please consider those poor people around you… but giving advice makes them angry. Anyway every body has to live his life and only good deeds will help him. When our people are not willing to change themselves, how a country will flourish?

More than 100 federal ministers/advisors for a country with only 4 provinces! Ridiculous.

Well in India the parliamentarians are asked to declare their assets before contesting election. Now One CRORE INDIAN RUPEES IS CONSIDERED NOTHING. Some are declaring even 200 crores.
Can you compare Quaid-e-Azam with Gillani? Have a heart!!!!
Although those beautiful ones are not yet born— but let’s look for some ways that we are able to mark a definite stage for us where by—–we the sinners are able to repent our past— forget and forgive all and have the vision at hand to start afresh. For which we need to search for a maestro and a charismatic leader.
Only then we may say:
Aa o ek naeey subh ka aaghaz karain—
Otherwise sticking to our sinful past will lead us nowhere—because— they say… in the melting pot the (old) stew only gets darker.

There was a meeting in assembly. ADC asked to Mr. Jinnah, “Should we serve tea or coffee in meeting?” Jinnah asked, “do not they come from home after having tea or coffee?” ADC lost. Mr. Jinnah added, “If any minister wants tea or coffee then should go for home, this is nation’s money for nation.” After this order till Mr. Jinnah power only plain
water used to serve in assembly meetings.
